Been another busy week for the Clan as Independence Games hype is carrying us right now! I am still seeing a great deal of action in the shadow academy and in the form of submissions to clan competitions! You are all on a roll right now, keep it up... Awards

Normally I do not cover this section, as it is normally covered by the Quaestor or Aedile of each House, however, we have had two amazing awards granted this week to our members.

First let me call forward Cyris Oscura. Cyris, or Cy, is an extremely hard worker. The man has several positions as an assistant to various DCers and is a machine. Most recently his art skills have granted him the task of redesigning all of our Awards, making them unique. For all of his hard work he has been awarded a Sapphire Blade!

Second, but no less important, was the founder of CEK and House Byss, Jonaleth Isradia. Jonaleth is another extremely hard worker that does a great deal of 'behind the scenes' type of work to better this Clan. While many of you have not seen his work yet, know that is lies in wait.. or until Chi can program the front end :p Congratuations on your award of an Amethyst Kukri!!!

Scholar of the Week

I would like to commend Wolverine and James for their hard work this week. You both are hard workers, hope to see more from your desks not just SA in the future!

Scholar of the Week... shakes head ANOTHER three way tie... Congratulations on the completion of 3 courses a piece to Rydack, Chris and Lusankya! You folks are amazing, keep up the hard work!

Scholar of the Month results will be out next week, so make sure you are busting hump to reach double digits for SA this month if you are close, that is

THE FIN

So the other day I realized it might be a good time to purchase new pants have owned the same six pair for, like, six years As I ripped the arse out of two pair in one day :o(

SO off to the store I went, thinking this could be an easy in&out process... incorrect... Jeans seems to have evolved quicker than human intelligence in the past few years. I went into Express to purchase several new pairs (for my next six year hold out) and was baffled by all the cuts/designs,etc.

I honestly think I stood staring at the wall for ten minutes, perhaps longer. Finally a cute gal working there came over, in my distress I told her my waist size and leg length... and told her to pick me out six pair and meet me at the register! Poor girl was quite dumbfounded, so I, unfortunately, had to stand there as she asked me what I thought of 30 different pair of jeans sigh what a mess...

So I leave with this question, did Darth Vader ever have the same problems picking out a stylish new tunic?
