The Independence Games finish on June 26th, so make sure you participate in them! Only 8 days left!!
We have a new Tetrarch for the Dark Orb Phyle, DJK Karan Callidus Entar! Welcome back to Qel-Droma. Also on the new arrivals list is Novice kyru666 and Apprentice Rilin Farris. Welcome to the House :)
Not much else to report here. Our Aedile Blade Dranal requested a LOA to sort out some hassles IRL, and I've had a lot of karate stuff on... my club was invited to train with Sensai Bruce Hyland for today, fairly long session but most enjoyable nonetheless. One of the most knowledge kumite experts in Australia - and probably the southern hemisphere.
INDEPENDENCE GAMES
Still more improvement :) Twelve people registered, eight people competing. I would like to thank Alex, Kandos, Shadow Stalker, Kreth Drey, Ark Dowell, Vassan Rokir and Karan Callidus Entar for their efforts and I hope you will put on a great show for this last week! Remember that I will be quite generous with rewarding competitors - Dark Crosses for those who submit to only a couple of events, with promotions, Steel Crosses and even Grand Crosses to those who truly amaze me.

COMPETITIONS
This months topics are "competition" and "fate". I'd prefer prose (story) for the former and poetry for the later, but I'm flexible :) Send your submissions to me at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] in .doc or .txt format and remember to include your ID line at the end so I can tell who you are :P
So far I have received two submissions (thanks Alex and Karan :) which I hope means you are all concentrating on the Independence Games. The IGs are the big competition of the month; these are more like side meals. If you have to choose between the two, pick the Independence Games.
