With DGM Astatine's untimely disappearance, I have found I have no other option but to remove him from his position for failure to perform his assigned duties.

As you likely know, the Vendetta event was scheduled (by the DGM) to start yesterday (the 20th). While disappearing for a single day is usually no cause for alarm, this event is extremely important to the Dark Brotherhood. His disappearance on the day of it's supposed release (and consequent unanswered emails) is unfortunately unacceptable, regardless of reason.

The Vendetta event WILL take place, however. It may just be delayed a few days while the order leaders and myself put together the missing pieces that were DGM Astatine's.

DGM Astatine served well as DGM and I do not bear him any ill will, but the time is here that we require someone who will come through on what he has said he will. Stability is the key.

As of now, applications for DGM are being accepted by myself. Please submit directly to me ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) your ideas for the DB, as well as the position of DGM, your history, ID line, why you think you should be DGM, etc.

Keep your eyes here for updates on the release date of the Vendetta.
