Dark Greetings Fellow House Members of Satal Keto,
Well, finally got around to doing this. As many know, Saturday I had to work an 11 hour shift so I didn't get a chance to do my report on time (thought I admit I should have done it earlier but...what can I say. Just didnt think of it at the time.) and then with the additional events happening this weekend I was lost in the #plagueis channel.
Last week I promised a new report scheme but after some discussions with a few people I decided I would wait till we're all on the same page. So I promise, This Saturday at 8pm EST my report AND the new Site will be released and published for you all.
Anyways, enough wasting time. Lets get down to the nitty gritty:
Important Announcments
Aedile on LoA
As Cyris mentioned on the House mailing list, he has been on LoA for the past few days and after discussing it with myself Ive given him the option to extend it to a week if not more depending on how much time he needs off. At this moment, I request everyone to send Competition concerns, requests, ect to myself but still CC them to Cyris so he is aware of these when hes back.
How do I get promoted?
Yes, Ive deicated a full section to this topic. For the past few days Ive heard from many ppl asking what they can do to advance in rank. While after discussing it with enough of you I decided Ill just post the answer here. Myself and Xen'Culo will be getting together to work out all the current achievements and requirements HSK members have to date. With this we will award those worthly or send an email to each individual explaining their last steps.
NOTE: If you have a master, don't expect a promotion from us unless you know your master has contacted Lucien and us about your completed tasks. We cannot interfere with the MSP, however if you have done a number of activities that impresses us you may see a shiny medal award under your name.
Independence Games 2005
After hundreds of emails, thousands of minutes given to bitching, and the last drop of blood falling to the ground; the IGs have come to a closure. I would like to thank all those that did participate, your efforts will be rewarded. For those that didn't, or those looking for something new we will have competitions available for you soon. If you have a suggest or a preference email myself and Cyris and we'll try to make it work.
New PCON
Former PCON Braecen has stepped down from his position today due to some personal issues of his own. While I hate to see him go, I am happy to see Lucien take his place. Many of you are probably appear of this guy as he was Clan Envoy and has been working with many of you and our House Envoy.
SA Courses
Wee! I just love getting these SA emails. Honestly I do, shows your active and give me a reason to use the little promotion option I have in my admir page. Want to earn a medal? Take the Quaestor's challenge, starting today first person to complete EVERY SINGLE SA COURSE AVAILABLE earns a shiny medal. Im serious, when I was a journeyman Vessicant gave me a StA for extreme activity in the IRC channels and SA, why can' you get the same deal?
Clan Channels
Ever wonder why you might have been boot/ban from #plagueis? What did you do to deserve this?
Everyone should realize that when you are in the DB channel you are still a guest, even if its your own clan channel. Therefore you have to adjust to the set rules of each channel. In Plagueis there are a number of rules and regs that each member must follow, and many more clan guests have to follow. Before you speak on IRC I suggest to speak to myself or Chi-Long and get an understanding of these rules.
MP Nights
Well it looks like your all getting the message. Christ more CoFs Ive ever seen come from SK in one week compared to 6 months in CSK. Congrats guys, now lets pick it up. Taldryan awoke last week to take by the MP nights so its our turn to smash their faces. Email me if your interested in participating in MP Nights and ill set you up with all the required information
NOTE- even though they are called MP Nights, games can be played throughout the days of Tuesday and Thursday. More information will be coming with the House Site.

Competitions
CP Current Events
The HSK Competition Highlight for this week is the clan competition: CP Current Events.
Quite an easy competition, while originly planned as a CEK comp, it has been transformed with the clan to become a CP competition. What the competition requires is for the member to create a fiction story on the recent events in Plagueis. This can be from Braecen's resignation and Lucien's appointment, to the clan merge and the IGs. Use that mind of yours and remember to CC your submission to myself.
Weekly Honourable Satal Ketoian
Last week I added this section in place of my closing comments. As I explained before, From now on I will weekly name HSK's most impressive member. This being decided on by participation, initative, medals, IRC attendence, anything that impresses me. Whats this worth? Well im offering that if any member can set a record of 3 weeks in a row of being mentioned they earn themselves a DC.
