The shadows of history haunt us.
Two of our active Protectors have left, citing a lack of activities or awards. There has also been a few other issues crop up, some I probably caused, and some I have no idea about. For the sake of simplicity, I'm just going to ignore the lot of them. Half of them are out of my hands, half of them will solve themselves, so I'll just stay out of the way. You are always welcome to bring whatever issues you have to me.
And could all those who submitted to the "Create Your Own Order" competition re-send your submissions to me? The Protector who was running the competition has left the House.
WRITERS FESTIVAL MONTH
This is the main competition for this month. It is a fairly new idea that I thought I'd try out. I've made a few modifications to the idea, and just need to put it together with the new AWOL policy (one submission every two months).
Basically, there are three divisions: comedy, serious and poetry. Each division will be judged according to quality and most importantly effort. Each division will be awarded third-level Crescents. There are no set topics. Write about whatever you like, just remember to keep it Star Wars-related (and preferably DB-related too).
Submit as many original items as you like to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] in .doc, .rtf or .txt format and remember to include the category in your email subject, and your name or ID line in the submission!
