Dinaari Aedile Report #2 - By Duga Arkarso
~~~~ First the News! ~~~~
This is my second report. After two weeks of not reporting I have a good bit more than the last report. Ben and I will be rotating weeks with reporting from here on out.
Independence Games are over and results are out. No big DB-wide competitions for awhile. Rebirth should be hitting next month with a new DB website, return of the Grant of Arms, and many other things. Look forward to that.

~~~~ What to do? Competitions! ~~~~
I have a new competition that started at the beginning of the month. It's called the BM Comp, short for Bryar Madness Competition. If you have JO and like to have fun, check it out. The information for the event is on the Dinaari, Taldryan, and DB Competition pages. Link to the Dinaari Comp page is listed further down.
Ben's comp is going to be starting soon. I think we may still be taking requests to be part of it. All you need to do is email Ben and I with what platform you would use in some team competition. The platforms used are JO, JA, and the ACC. (http://dinaari.taldryan.org/linked_soul/index.html)
Here is a competition for those in Taldryan that are of or below the rank Jedi Hunter. There is a Run-on up called "What do you do." A Clan Competition will be coming up after both House Dinaari and House Ektrosis complete House Competitions. Look out for that. It should be awesome.

~~~~ House Activity ~~~~
Well, we have 31 members that are not APPs on the roster. I'm happy to say we have a large bit doing things. 13 have won awards and 9(1 APP) doing SA Courses. Several new members have been active on the boards and IRC. Overall, we have more than half the House active in doing things, then some more just around on IRC which is nice too. Good job everyone.
Also, wanted to touch on the Independence Games. Of course Taldryan didn't come close to the top. The Clan really has a "play if you want" approach to the Independence Games each year so it isn't a big priority for the Clan or Houses. It is nice to see some participate in it though. Good work to those that have. Your contributions have been noted. I believe everyone that did something will be getting some kind of medals or something. Anyways, here is who did what.

Duga Arkarso took part in 10 events and placed in 4 of them. 3 2nd places and a 4th. IGs MVP ranked 7th overall.
Pimp Sharad Taldrya Hett took part in one event and placed 3rd. (Without even knowing. :P)

~~~~ Reminiscing ~~~~
Two weeks passed by pretty quick. I know I wish I could have some of it back. Life is busy and always moving. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. No matter if you are working or doing nothing, enjoy it. Before you know it, things will change. Enjoy life no matter what happens to it. Being negative just causes you more trouble.
Dinaari has been pretty active compared to other Houses I'd say. My policy is always to do what you can, when you can. If you need a gaming break, some time to rest, or just too busy right now, do whatever you need to do. Dinaari and Taldryan will be here. Just don't completely disappear on us. heh.
One last thing if you are still with me(I hope you are). If you are a XWA or XvT player and would like to see future competitions in Dinaari and Taldryan involving those games, please let me know. Also if you have any ideas for good House or Clan competitions that involve those games, send me an email. We want to have something for everyone here. Help us help you.
