First off, everyone should have recieved an email about the AWOL check, and I expect everyone to reply to it. I mean, it only takes two seconds to send me and Duga a quick "Hi, I'm still alive" note. For you "new" people who don't know what an AWOL check is...the basic idea is you reply or you go away. Nice and simple. Kir's going away for most of the week, so bug Shadow with your important problems. As for DB-wide news, Khobai gets CoG, Chi-Long quits and Jac posted a rebirth update with pictures and everything. People have put a ton of effort in getting this done on time, and what has been shown so far looks real nice.

• Kir's Quick and Easy Mad Lib: (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1396) Fill in the nouns, verbs, adjecitves, etc and once the actual mad lib is posted the funniest three win.

• The BM Comp (Bryar Madness): Play any DB member a good old fashioned bryars game? Send the scores to Duga for a chance to win fourth level crescents. Ends August 13th.

If you have had any passing interest in Allegiance whatsoever, I suggest you come around on Saturdays and join in one of the matches that DB members play almost all day. As a bonus, they'll help you prepare for that upcoming Allegiance tourney. The next Tal Times is coming up soon too. It's everyone's favourite local "trustworthy" news source!
