We have a Clan Competition running now called Training Op 3.08. It's a Run-on open to all the members of the Clan. Rules and information for the Run-on is listed in the first post and others throughout the topic. Please read up and get involved. Fun stuff indeed.

~~~~ What to do? Competitions! ~~~~

The BM Comp is over. Thanks goes to all that participated. 1st place went to Zhilvinas, 2nd place went to Kraval, and 3rd place went to Aevin. Congrats!
Dinaari took two spots in the Quick & Easy CON Competition 2-3. Sithspawn took 1st with freshjive coming in 2nd. Congrats guys!
A big Clan Competition had been put on hold to sometime after the Obelisk RoS. Right now we have the Training Op 3.08 going to the end of the month. That should be good for anyone who likes to write and good practice for DB-wide events. Gamers need to start playing some on the Gaming Nights and ICTE to practice for the Obelisk RoS.
I will be hosting the ICTE this weekend so if you are looking for someone to practice with, I should be around a good bit of the time. Last week we had 29 folks play so there should be someone around to play hopefully.

Sunday Tourney is THIS WEEKEND for those that qualify. Qualify by playing in at least one other gaming event listed above over the past two weeks before a Sunday Tournament. Play in the ICTE SATURDAY to qualify if you didn't already.

~~~~ House Activity ~~~~

The House AWOL Check was great. We lost a total of 30 members from Dinaari. That's a great way to get rid of dead weight holding us down. We currently have 37 members. We have 13 people who earned awards over the past two weeks and about 3 others active. That's 16 out of 27 non-APPs actively doing stuff. I'd consider that great. Looking around the DB some Houses are striving for just a few active members. There isn't a great deal needed to be active, just do something now and then, show up on IRC or the message boards. Keep up the great work guys!

~~~~ Reminiscing ~~~~

The last two weeks have been kind of slow in the news department. Not too many things going on. You guys have been active though. I have been seeing a lot of medals and things go by me. I'm really hopefully we can do great in the upcoming RoS. Just be ready to get really active around the beginning of September.

I know many folks are starting back to school soon or have already started back. The summer just goes by so quickly. I'm not in school at the current time, just working full-time. Still not sure what I want out of school, if anything. All I know is time is so quick now. Before you know it, a week is gone. Make sure to use all the time you can for whatever is fun and important to you. I don't mean to sound preachy, but hey I guess it does. Life has it's problems, my family has had plenty this summer. All we can do is go on and hope for the best. Good luck to all those going back to school. Remember RL stuff comes before the Dark Brotherhood. Just keep us updated on what's up.
