Obelisk Rite of Supremacy

The Obelisk Rite of Supremacy is coming very soon (less than two weeks, I'm hearing), and there will be an ACC section to it. Those of you who are not yet past the rank of ACC: INI need to get past it this week. There aren't many who play the games, but you can all write.

This is a major, club-wide competition where we will be fighting other Clans for titles and awards. Unfortunately, a lot of the whole Clan are writers, not gamers, so the ACC portion is going to be the most important part of the Obelisk Rite of Supremacy.

Prepare yourselves accordingly - the fighting will be fierce, but with a concentrated team effort we shall prove our worth!

Monthly Topics (August)

Our two monthly topics for this month are "Hope" and "Redemption". Interpret as you wish, as either prose or poetry.

Fun and Games (August)

Story: You wake up in bed with a fellow House member, with a massive hangover and no clue what happened. What happened?

Poetry: Anything about drinking, in any style of poetry.

Holocron of Qel-Droma (August)

For a House that bears the name of a Sith Lord, we pay very little reverence to him. One of the House artifacts is an old lightsaber of Ulic Qel-Droma, which still bears some of his Dark Side imprint. How did we come to possess this lightsaber? Was it a gift passed down through the generations? Did the Sith Lord lose it? Was it found somewhere, after his death? Write a story of at least 4 pages in 12 pt TNR or Arial font detailing how this weapon ended up in our hands.

Any good submissions may be counted as the official story of how we acquired the lightsaber, but any submissions would be nice :)
