Konnichi wa, meat puppets... it's that time again. Doesn't time fly when you're having fun?

The most important thing this week is the House Feud: Unsettled Scores. The end date for submissions is next Wednesday, August 31st- you have until then to submit. At the moment, it seems as though House Ludo Kressh might be in the lead. We can't have that. Do you want to get beaten by a bunch of pasty, cowardly Sith and the occasional beer-swilling, numbskulled Obelisk? No, I didn't think so. Goat hasn't yet recieved submissions for the following events (which means that if you submit something to them, you've got an EXTREMELY good chance of getting first and helping House Marka Ragnos own those Sithlets)-

I did an entry for the Chapter 3 Poem, so strike that one off the list. But that still leaves four events that you can churn out an entry for by Wednesday! I'm going to be away from Wednesday to Friday (Ireland again) so I want to come back and find out that Marka Ragnos is, as I believe, the foremost house in CNS, if not in the DB as a whole. We're certainly the most pimp and bad-ass- let's prove it. Ryaah!! ^_^ Also, submitting to the above events and getting a nice big shiny and first place also means a lot towards you getting your next promotion- we'll be taking into account everyone who submitted to the House Feud in the next Sadow Conclave, so we can properly reward people for their activity. So get to it! Pay those Sith back for thinking they could blow up our Cathedral and get away with it!!

Secondly, applications for the Night Hawks Tetrarch. You have until tomorrow night to get them in- after that we'll go over all the applications and decide who we believe is best suited to the job. And remember- being a Tetrarch is a nice step up to greater positions. Look at me- I started off as Tetrarch of the Avatars of Death, then became Aedile, then became Quaestor. Muz followed the same path, except he became Proconsul on top of that. =D So keep that in mind if you're not sure whether to apply or not.

Also, Frozen Fortress winners- don't worry, Manji hasn't forgotten about you. He got in touch with Khan ages ago- recently Khan came back from holiday and replied, so Manji submitted the competition using the form (as Khan requested) then got in touch with him again. At the moment, awarding the medals is in the MAA's jurisdiction- but apparently, he set aside a special folder for my comp because he was interested in it =D So don't worry, you won't be forgotten. ^_^

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

No worthy medals or promotions this week... pity. Overall, it's been pretty quiet- but I hope for an influx of medals next week (or whenever the Unsettled Scores...uh... scores... come in.) ^_^

The Weird and Wonderful World of your Quaestor...

Ho hum. I like rock. Spent a large, bountiful chunk of Tuesday writing a song- in the morning (in the bath, to be precise) I had an idea for the song and a few lyrics. During the day I fleshed out the lyrics. Then, in the evening, with the aid of my GuitarPro program, I created the music. And let me just say, it rocks. Hard. It's all about the legendary gunman, Vash the Stampede, and his desire for peace... ^^ Anyway. Manjis going to Ireland next Wednesday, August 31st. He'll be away until Friday, so shouldn't miss anything. But if he does, Kat gets to take the reins. ^^ This is what happens when you have a girlfriend... it plays havoc with your schedule. But hey. I'll take several days of lust-filled heavy petting over sorting out the assorted problems of the House any day, thank you very much =D
