Aedile Report
Greetings all, Im happy to report it has been quite a productive week for HSK, activity seems to be slowly picking back up as I have had a steady flow of emails for most of the week. We have gained two new members, promoted two others, and seen one of those members start his first competition. Weeks like this make your Aedile very happy, keep up the good work!
For those who have not heard, our Proconsul Esca is going on LoA for the month of September, and has asked that we dont kill anyone while hes away. Thats quite a large request for likes of Dark Jedi, so I wont tell him if any of you decide to go on a random killing spree here and there, just be sure to clean up the mess before he gets back.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate one of our brothers who has had quite an impressive week. Vasily Zaitzev received a Scroll of Indoctrination, left the order of the Krath to join the ranks of the Sith, changed his name to Vasily Occasus Zaitzev, received a promotion to the rank of Jedi Hunter, and launched his first competition. Congratulations Vas, Im glad to see your hard work and patience paid off, keep it up.
Protector Bran Redmow has had an impressive week in the Shadow Academy, passing both Sith Flight Studies I and II, as well as the Sith Core course, well done Bran!
OP Arso Slyth earned himself five Clusters of Fire in the ICTE, good job Arso!
As I mentioned earlier, HSK received two new members this week, everyone welcome APP Alexander Xanitos and ACO Adalyn into the House. APP Alexander Xanitos also passed the ACC Intitiates Course, good work Alexander!
For all you JA players, in case you havent heard, Lusankys server is down. He is headed back to college and is taking the server offline while hes in school.

*House AWOL Check! *</FONT COLOR=RED>
The Clan Summit has called for each House to do an AWOL check. I have received an extremely low number of responses, so I will be contacting everyone I have not heard from via email or IRC, please reply to the email if you wish to remain in House Satal Keto. I would hate to see anyone moved to the rogues who doesnt want to be!
Everyone be sure to Cc both your Quaestor and Aedile on ALL competition submissions, unless otherwise stated in the competition details, so we can keep track of your activity!
The results for round 2 of the CPBT competitions have been released, and while Satals Inferno came in last in round 2, they are still in the lead overall followed by Exars Shadow, with the Heretics of Bane nipping at their heels. The results for round 3 have yet to be released, but round 4 is in full swing, so go out there and make us proud guys!
The Clan Summit has decided to use the Starfleet owned by Clan Plagueis as a tool to promote Clan activity, and give all you space junkies a chance to take an active role in the operations of the Clan Fleet. To kick this off, two competitions have been released to get you all into the spirit. Our Consul Lucien has also started a thread on the Clan MBs intended to allow you all to submit ideas for the names of each ship, if your idea gets picked, you receive a Dark Cross!

Not too far away from Brotherhood space, a group of pirates and smugglers has managed to draw the attention of the dark council. Having found an old Droid Supply Depot, complete with Droid Storage Facilities, forgotten after the Clone Wars, they managed to establish positions on the planet. Before they can dig in any deeper, the brotherhood will strike.
This will not be like any fight the brotherhood has fought before in recent times. Not since the Exodus has the brotherhood attacked, before being under attack itself. All clans will be deployed to Coratua IV, to capture individual locations. We will seize the enemies assets, and add them to our own.
Opposition? Droids, and vehicles the enemy has managed to ship in. their fleet is not much of a threat, but will be dealt with, preferably by capturing their ships.
The rewards? Droids, after appropriate reprogramming. The vehicles of the enemy. The ships of the enemy. It is rumored that there is also an ancient force artifact on the planet, but no-one can confirm this yet. The Royal Guard will be sent to investigate this. Plus, novae for members, as well as vendetta seals.

The House Run-on id moving along impressively, I get excited every time theres a new post to read, the competition is really heating up with quality posts from several different participants. Anyone who is interested in participating can join at any time, just be sure to read ALL the posts before joining, as continuity is a big judging point.

You were recently selected to go on a routine patrol of DB space. I will be the Patrol's leader. We are told by CP officials to patrol specifically the areas around the Annara System. The Annara system is the former home of Clan Satal Keto. While in the area you and the rest of your group discover the abandoned fleets of Clan Satal Keto and the Ships of the former Clan Exar Kun. Seeing that the Ships are from the two entities that made up CP they are our property. Tell me about the ships, their conditions, our reactions, what was the docking facility like, what we do to return these ships to Byfrost, Etc. BE CREATIVE!

CP - Current Events - August 05
As a new clan forged from two different pasts, our struggle for an individual Clan identity has become our primary focus. As such, we need to fill our archives with interesting and historical data of Plagueis, its Houses, and its membership.
Disciples of Plagueis are asked to write a one and a half to two page (1.5-2 pgs) story of the recent events within and surrounding the Clan. Time Frame can be any from Braecen's and Chi-Long's leaving, to any event before August 31st. Be creative and Have Fun!!

Part 4 of CP Battleteam Competition.
The Consul needs paintings for his walls. Your job will be to search the internet using any means you have available to you to find Lucien 10 pieces of artwork to either hang on his walls or stand in his office. These can be images of anything or sculptures of anything. Keep the images clean though, nothing over PG-13. The use of expressly copyrighted images is forbidden.

This competition requires you create a song for Jac around the theme of Buffalo Hunting. You can use the tune from any popular song and write the lyrics. We might even get it sung on DBRadio crosses fingers

Information has been 'received' that a group of young Jedi Knights have uncovered a book filled with ancient Krath rituals previously unknown. The Krath High Priestess has given the order for anyone willing to go to Duxn and retrieve this book from the tomb of Freedon Nadd. You may go by yourself or with a team of up to three people. Expect to encounter poor conditions and some uptight Jedi Knights. Bring back that book at all costs.

Every Tuesday and Thursday the DB sponsers an open gaming event in channel <font color="RED">#GMRG</FONT COLOR=RED> on the Undernet IRC Server. Platforms involved are JO/JA/Xvt/XWA/SWGB, etc. You earn a Cluster of Fire for every win and one for every three losses! This leads up to the Inter-Club Training Event (or ICTE for short), which is hosted every Saturday in <font color="RED">#outerrim</FONT COLOR=RED>. In this event you will play not only fellow DB'ers but gamers from other clubs! Also, by gaming in any of these functions, you will qualify to participate in the bi-weekly Sunday Tournament! You might often hear of it referred to as the 'ACC' for short. This is where members can participate in 'combat writing', it is a place to utilize a Character Sheet and not only role-play, but sharpen your writing skills into precise accurate slices. It is often graded on, not who lives/dies, but ingenuity, continuity, grammar and realism!
Known as the 'SA' for short, this is the place of learning within the Dark Brotherhood. In truth, every member could learn something there. However, it is often used to teach Apprentice, Novice, and Acolyte ranks about the DB! It is the quickest way to reach the rank of Protector and begin your Trials to Knighthood!
The Clan website has a section for Member Archives, used to display the various works from the Clans members, for everyone to see. It is down at the moment, but will be back up soon. Anyone can submit works, of fiction or graphics, at any time. If anyone has work they would like to see placed in the archives, please send them to me, Aerick, or our Envoy Adam Anderson, and well make sure to get them in there. Please send all submissions with the subject Archive Submission[Your name here]
Yes, we still use message boards to talk to one another, or to relate relatively involved thought that otherwise cant get broken up in the IRC channels... Definitely check it out; dont be afraid to sign up and post either! The MBs can be found here

With the departure of Warhunter, we are currently working to get a new HSK website ready for you all to enjoy, Ill keep you updated on its staus in my reports, so keep your eye out for news.
IRC activity is required for advancement within the House and Clan, so naturally I STRONGLY encourage everyone to join us in channel <font color="RED">#plagueis</FONT COLOR=RED>. Its not only the place to get the latest news on whats happening in the Clan, but also a great place to hang out and get to know your Clanmates.
