Hello Satal Keto! Another week is gone, and I am very happy to say, there’s a new Quaestor in the house! After Aerick’s mysterious disappearance, the Clan summit decided it was time to let someone else take over, and I’m very pleased to announce that someone is our very own OP Arso Slyth! Arso is a great guy, and has some really good ideas for the House, so keep your eyes peeled for some new things on the horizon, and buy Arso a beer when you see him. Congratulations Arso, I can’t wait to see what HSK can do under your guidance.

I would like to take a moment to welcome OT Warhunter back into HSK, I was really happy to hear Warhunter say he was coming back, and even happier that he has joined Satal’s Inferno. Good to have you around again Warhunter!

I want to see every one of you out there who owns JA, JO, JK, BF, Allegiance, can write, or battle in the ACC, to get out there and help Clan Plagueis shine. Now this is my first RoS, so I’m trying to learn and figure it out as I go, but it just so happens we have a pair of Equite Obelisks right here in the House that can help out with any questions you may have. Our new Quaestor OP Arso Slyth, and recently returned OT Warhunter, actually know what is going on with this whole thing, so if any of you are like me and find yourself somewhat confused, please feel free to contact either one of them. Now even I am going to try and get a little gaming in for this, and I haven’t done any gaming for quite a long time, but if for whatever reason you can’t game, the first of the special events in the RoS has been released, and simply participating will earn you points, so you have no excuse not to get out there and score some points for the Clan. The details for the special event are:

The war has just begun. How is your character adjusting to battle? Is he or she in the trenches somewhere? Is he or she whimpering in the back? Or slaughtering things all around?

In other words: a fiction(TNR 12, 2 pages minimum, no max), with the subject being your character in this war. Entries are due Sunday the 18th. Recipients should be me, Telona, and Kaek. We will judge them on writing, creativity, originality and humor.

Everyone be sure to Cc both your Quaestor and Aedile on ALL competition submissions, unless otherwise stated in the competition details, so we can keep track of your activity!

[CP] The Fleet of Shadows

You were recently selected to go on a routine patrol of DB space. I will be the Patrol's leader. We are told by CP officials to patrol specifically the areas around the Annara System. The Annara system is the former home of Clan Satal Keto. While in the area you and the rest of your group discover the abandoned fleets of Clan Satal Keto and the Ships of the former Clan Exar Kun. Seeing that the Ships are from the two entities that made up CP they are our property. Tell me about the ships, their conditions, our reactions, what was the docking facility like, what we do to return these ships to Byfrost, Etc. BE CREATIVE!

CP - Current Events - September 2005

As a new clan forged from two different pasts, our struggle for a individual Clan Identy has become our primary focus. As such, we need to fill our archives with interesting and historical data of Plagueis, its Houses, and its membership.

Disciples of Plagueis are asked to write a one and a half to two page (1.5-2 pgs) story of the recent events within and surrounding the Clan. This could be about any Summit changes or anything that has caught your eye. Must be an event before September 30th.

Every Tuesday and Thursday the DB sponsers an open gaming event in channel <font color="RED">#GMRG</FONT COLOR=RED> on the Undernet IRC Server. Platforms involved are JO/JA/Xvt/XWA/SWGB, etc. You earn a Cluster of Fire for every win and one for every three losses! This leads up to the Inter-Club Training Event (or ICTE for short), which is hosted every Saturday in <font color="RED">#outerrim</FONT COLOR=RED>. In this event you will play not only fellow DB'ers but gamers from other clubs! Also, by gaming in any of these functions, you will qualify to participate in the bi-weekly Sunday Tournament! Allegiance Academy

You might often hear of it referred to as the 'ACC' for short. This is where members can participate in 'combat writing', it is a place to utilize a Character Sheet and not only role-play, but sharpen your writing skills into precise accurate slices. It is often graded on, not who lives/dies, but ingenuity, continuity, grammar and realism!

Antei Combat Center

Known as the 'SA' for short, this is the place of learning within the Dark Brotherhood. In truth, every member could learn something there. However, it is often used to teach Apprentice, Novice, and Acolyte ranks about the DB! It is the quickest way to reach the rank of Protector and begin your Trials to Knighthood!

Shadow Academy

Both the House and Clan websites have a section for Member Archives, used to display the various works from our members, for everyone to see. The Clan archives are down at the moment, but the House archives are being compiled as we speak. Anyone can submit works, of fiction or graphics, at any time. If anyone has work they would like to see placed in the archives, please send them to me or Arso, and we’ll make sure to get them in there. Please send all submissions with the subject “Archive Submission[Your name here]

Yes, we still use message boards to talk to one another, or to relate relatively involved thought that otherwise can’t get broken up in the IRC channels... Definitely check it out; don’t be afraid to sign up and post either! The MBs can be found here
