Current Ops

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Signups for the 2nd CHL closed this week and the tiers have been set up [http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/acc/hall.asp?id=37]. The ladder itself was set up randomly, which means that I didn't 'pit' anyone against each other, in addition, the current structure won't change. You have plenty of time to do some 'opponent' research as the Ladder will not be starting right away. Combatants were given the opportunity to request the Rite of Exaltation, which has now been closed as well. No more RoE requests will be honored.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>The ACC Portion of the RoS has begun [http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/acc/hall.asp?id=36] with CSP and Tal being the first two participants (as of the writing of this report). The Scoring rules are at the top of the Hall itself. Normal ACC rules apply with the addition of a 24hr post time limit and the selection of the venue by the OHC.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>The September Jamboree is still going - ACCLive! games can be played Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We have no misgivings about the level of participation, 1)Live! has found a home in a niche of a few members who enjoy it, it's not everyone's thing 2) There is an RoS going on, duh :P and 3) The staff is also immersed in their own activities apart from the Centre, so availability of a Judge is pretty random. ALL of these things will determine the level of play that ACCLive! gets - we're cool with that.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>

Staff

</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Kat Pridemore is on LoA until the 20th. I believe she has contacted the people she is battling with, and has admin-ed battles that needed it. If you were looking to challenge her for training or qualification, you shouldn't be able to until she gets back.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>The OHC has been placed as M:CM for the duration of the RoS, upon which time he'll be removed. We did not discuss his acceptance or declination of 'regular' battles while he is on the roster, made by new folks who just don't know any better. As usual, he knows how it goes and I leave those decisions to him. Should he decide to undertake a few or decline every one that comes through, it doesn't matter, he has m support either way.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>I'm always looking for staff members, but right now my focus is on Live! - just a few more and we'll be set. Other positions, such as Trainers and Judges are always available - you just have to apply. Total coverage is my goal, and that takes numbers as well as dedicated individuals. We have a decent staff now, but there's always room for jello :)</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>

Coming Soon <span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: italic">(projects 'in

the works' or just 'waiting' with no connection to Rebirth)</span>

</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>- The 2nd CHL will start at the end of the ORoS</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Team event in the works as a precursor to "The Derelict Code". It won't be related to the co-op, and will only be geared to get people used to writing as a team.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- The cooperative competition has finally been given a title: "The Derelict Code"</td> </tr> <tr> <td>All is usually quiet in the Combat Centre proper, with the only signs of strife existing within the Halls themselves as battle ensues. Erupting from grudge, boredom or the need to hone skills possessed, the Centre is the home for the Brotherhood's version of the Ritual of Certamen, an ages old tradition born in the High Temple of Ferran. From the early days of the Krath Combat Centre, through the Exodus and the rebirth of the Antei Combat Centre, Combat Masters have struggled to intertwine the barely-understood technology of the Centre with the intentions of the Ritual, but some may have, ignorantly, gone too far. Never needing to fear 'real' death behind the Centre's walls, a new threat vows to change that. Having complete power over the Centre's operations, "they" begin their rampage with the hopes of extending their power beyond the walls of the Centre - even to the Dark Hall itself. Bereft of the ability to die, the origin of the threat seems to have come from...The Derelict Code.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>
