News & Information

</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>The idea of Clan Halls has been approached again, but not 'denied' by this office as in the past. All CON/PCON's were sent a Clan Hall proposal that could be the ground work for a future ACC hall renovation - why am I telling you this? Because if it doesn't happen, you can't blame me :P Seriously, if this is something that may interest you - bug your leadership to respond to the proposal (CON/PCON's: my apologies if members actually do this, hehe).</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>The Cleaning the Combat Master competition has been completed and battles were rated yesterday. All participants, that posted, received a Cluster of Fire apart from the winners who received appropriate level crescents, with the addition of ACC Armory weapons for the first place team. Placing second, by a hair, was the team of KE Nekura Manji Keibatsu (CNS) and KAP Shin'Ichi Endymiron Keibatsu (CNS). Placing first and, subsequently, the overall winner was the team of DJM Arania Lawakiro Palpatine (CSP) and KP Braecen Isradia Kunar (CP). They have made their ACC Armory selections and have been added to the approved users of the ACC Armory forum topic.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Only two battles remain in the Second CHL before going into the Semi-Finals. GM Jac Cotelin and DJM Xanos Sadow have already advanced and are waiting their opponents from the two remaining battles: KPN Muz Ashen Keibatsu vs. KP RevengeX and DJK Brujah Tamalar vs. DA Corran Halcyon Arconae, which should both be ending soon.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Progress is being made on the Rebirth Compendium, I know you're sick of hearing it :P However, I just wanted you to know that I am STILL taking Clan locations for the venue guide! It is important that you supply them if you want them because the possibility of 'making them up' in the rebirth challenge form might not be available with what we are planning. Hence, it's gotta get into the venue guide - but please, try to compile them as a Clan. I don't want fifteen-billion emails from everyone in the clan, though that might be unavoidable :)</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>

Reminders

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Echani as a fighting style has been taken up by the Commander of the Guard where it's 'approval' is concerned. The CM/DCM will no longer process approvals or declinations for this style, rather, should you wish to be approved for its use - please seek the counsel of the CoG.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>- The** Force Pool System** has been released - combatants with battles that started on or after the 1st of Nov should see an OOC in their intros. You can find the FP System information here.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Concerning time-outs: If you know you're going to be LoA, you need to "officially" request a battle extension, even if I know you're going to be gone. You MUST mail the CM, DCM _and your opponent with the request BEFORE your battle times out. If your opponent says "no"... tough luck, if you "forget" to send your request in time, to those mentioned... tough luck. "Acts of God" and unavoidable instances will be considered - but they will not replace poor planning on your part.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>- To have a competition 'set up' through the ACC, the coordinators need to mail the CM or the DCM. Once all the specifics of the competition (to include awards) have been worked out, the CM or DCM will submit the competition FOR YOU! This is to cut down on the last-minute "hey, remember that competition I told you about 5 months ago and haven't brought up with you since... yea, well... it's starting tomorrow..." stuff. This way, we can track your competitions and make sure they get set up properly and in a timely manner - "forgetting" about it becomes our fault, not yours. _</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>

Tip Of The Week

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>N/A</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>The old man speaks...</td> </tr> <tr> <td>I was actually heart broken with the loss of Langis Histop, in fact, I haven't even been able to bring myself to remove her from the ACC staff roster yet. Sure, this is an online club and we only really "know" someone as much as they let us - but some people have an effect. She was one of the very few, in recent times, that I looked at as having amazing potential with her writing - on her own she was a great writer, but not everyone has the knack for 'combat writing' - she did. Her time dwindled near the end, we knew of her illness - but no one ever really expects it to actually happen. I've seen a lot of crap, like most in this club who serve the military in times of war, but this sucked the most. Who knows? She could have been anything in her life, but in this club - when you're new and being 'taught' - a person can seem so young and innocent, despite the motivations of our 'characters'. Anyway, that's about all I can stand to write - my heart and prayers go out to her family, along with the best wishes of the ACC Staff.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" width="90%" bordercolorlight="#1B1B1B" bordercolordark="#000000" id="table2"> <tr> <td>DA Dalthid</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Combat Master</td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>

Well, we cannot send Clan locations before we have finished our facilities/worlds design, which will still take a few months.

Also, if this hint means we will in the future not be able to select location out of the blue, then I'd like to note my formal protest against it. Especially for fun battles it will often be impossible to get a decent set up for certain situations then.

I agree. I like picking random locations for my jesters keep battles. Besides, it would get boring fighting in the same venues all the time.
