I'm aware that this report is a few hours early, but I'm not sure if I'll be very active for the next two or three days, so I'm going to go ahead and post this week's report.

Introductions:

Real life caught up to me this week and caused me to miss a lot of Dark Jedi Brotherhood time, but I'm back up to speed and better then ever. I will continue to be busy this week and next week as well, but after that I should have superb activity. Just don't expect me on IRC much these next two weeks, I will try to answer emails at least, but I'll just have to see.

What Recently Happened:

Our battle team welcomes Galaphile and Jonaleth to our ranks. We thank them for joining our wonderful group, so if you see them buy 'em and drink (or in Jonaleth's case bow :P) Remember that our battle team can hold twelve members, so if you know a member who enjoys writing see about recruiting them.

Current Projects:

Right now, we have successfully purged our roster, and thankfully only lost one member. We are always recruiting though, so I've decided that if you recruit someone into our battle team I'll see to it that you receive an award. Besides recruiting, our only current project is the run-on competition. Later we'll see about some special competitions, but for now we're going to focus on the run-on and an idea I have for our second competition.

Competitions:

1: [BT ES] Return to Eden

Somehow, a distress beacon went off from the ruins of the former residence of House Bane. After discussing this in the House Summit, the Battle Team Exar's Shadow was sent in to investigate this on Eden. None knew what to expect there, but there were still persistent rumors about the still wandering groups of pirates. Could it be true the Crimson Tide returned?

This run-on will take place under House Exar Kun's message board. There is no post order, but DO NOT double-post, that means posting right after your last post. If you do this DO NOT expect to be in the top three.

I am very happy with how this competition us doing. In only two days all of our members had posted, so remember that the more the posts the better. The run-on is doing fantastic, and our superb participation is showing the summit that our battle team has something to prove. So all I can say is keep posting until the story ends!

Future Projects:

Seeing as how our run-on shows that we are a very active battle team, I'll be watching Exar Kun's other battle team with their competition. As the original members know, Thran and I are talking about an Exar Kun battle team war, but first we want to make sure that both teams are active and will participate. The war will consist of writing and gaming events, so I want to see to it that we try to expand into some type of gaming.

I also have an idea for our second competition, but I won't run it until some time after the run-on ends. It will be a fiction competition instead of a run-on, so just get ready. Competitions are some of the easiest ways to get active, so I am going to try to have at least one competition a month for our battle team.

Remember that I don't want to have to think of every competition we have, so I am always open to ideas. Just drop me an email with the idea, and chances are I'll approve it, so never think your idea is stupid. There's no harm in giving it to me, so just talk away.
