Quaestor Report

Brujah Tamalar sat at the large wooden desk in his office preparing to start his report to the Clan Summit. It was one of the first moments in the recent weeks that the young Knight had been able to get away from the constant planning and mapping that was the War. After the last damage report came in the Quaestor had found a renewed hope. Caliburnus had shown its might and had landed a serious blow to the Obelisks forces and the Sith felt that victory was nearly imminent. It brought a sinister smile to his face, but he was cautious knowing that the Obelisks would strike back. With every passing day the War was coming closer to its bloody conclusion. Only time would tell if the Sith could remain strong and hold on to what they had fought so hard for.

General Information

Well, as we all saw in the report of the current scores of the War House Caliburnus has quite a lead at this point. My thanks go out to those of you who have put forth your utmost effort for this War, and rest assured your steadfastness has not gone unnoticed. I do have to say that I am fairly disappointed in the ACC turnout for this War though. To those of you that completed your battles, excellent job. Every single win that was won by judgement in the ACC thus far has been a Caliburnus win, and that’s outstanding. But you guys are giving away points by timing out in battles. If you’re not going to be able to post in time then please contact the staff and let us know why. There is always the possibility of an extension under the right circumstances, but just not wanting to post is not a good enough excuse. If that is the case then you shouldn’t have signed up for the battle in the first place.

We’re past half way in the war, and as you all also saw some of the activity has ceased. I very much want to see you guys and gals out there playing members of House Dorimad Sol, or writing for one of the ongoing events. We need EVERYONE to participate in some form. I’m not exactly sure if there is going to be a third Weird and Easy Event, but if there is I would like to see as close to a 100% turnout as possible.

As I mentioned in an e-mail to the Clan, I am going to be on LOA from December 26th – January 2nd. SW Warhunter Arawn Entar will be in charge in my absence, and I’m very serious when I say that you WILL be respectful of him. If I come back and find that anyone gave him problems while I was gone you can expect to see swift action from me.

Activity

As I mentioned in the above section our activity has been here and there. Some events we seem really strong in, and others we are lacking in. But I can honestly say that I’ve not seen enough from our gamers and that’s something that I’m disappointed in. Some of you really need to step up your performance. Timbal stated that anyone that does nothing for this War will be transferred to Rogue, and I will back him on that completely. These events are easy and fun, there is no reason not to participate in at least one.

Some of you have been doing great, and as always I will recognize the person that I personally feel has done best since my last report with my Activity All-Star award. If you feel like you have been overlooked for the award then chances are that we’re not seeing your activity. I can only go by what I get e-mails about, and as I have said repeatedly in the past all I get e-mails on are promotions, awards, and SA Courses passed. Activity goes much further than that, and if you would CC me when you submit entries to any competition, or forward your ACC Battle results to me I could easily count that as Activity and then maybe you could get the Activity All-Star.

This week the Activity All-Star award goes out to the man that won an event inside the War for us. DJK Xen’culo Apophis Entar took 1st place in the Weird and Easy #1 event in the war AND scored up two wins for House Caliburnus in the ACC! This is an excellent effort on his part, and it has earned him the Activity All-Star award! Congratulations Xen, and expect your Crescent with Emerald Star soon!

Before I Go…:

Remember that when it comes to comments on the mailing list or on IRC that it’s best to follow the ol’ Golden Rule. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. That may sound like common sense to most, but some people just don’t seem to get that. If you treat people like crap, you should expect to get treated like crap in return. Just because you don’t like someone doesn’t give you the right to jump into conversations that person starts with some kind of sarcastic comment. Being disrespectful to people is a great way to find yourself in trouble, and if I continue seeing it on the mailing list and on IRC something will be done about it.

Have a Great Holiday Season!
