I'm pleased to report that the projects and plans the Consul has set for the Clan are on track. Some in fact are ahead of schedule, which is always a great thing!

A new Clan-wide competition begins today! The details are located in the "Competitions" section below. This one gives all you graphics guru's a chance to show what you are capable of and give the Clan a Warbanner to be proud of!

I don't want to go any further before I wish a fond farewell to our pal SBM Godo Nurok. He served us well as QUA of HEK, and he also created some of the most exceptional Newsletters that I have ever seen in all my gaming years. His abilities and contributions were limited to those areas either, he was also a great friend to many people in this Clan, and he will be sorely missed. Due to RL constraints he decided to move to the Rogues, where I'm sure he shall one day return to entertain us with some crazy stories of his adventures while he was away. Farewell Godo, your spot in the cantina will be here when your ready to return. ;-)

If anyone has any ideas for Clan level competitions that they'd like to see ran, forward them to the Clan Summit for consideration. I'd rather run competitions that are of interest to the members than the same old stuff that we've all seen countless times before. The Clan Summit has some ideas for some upcoming competitions, but it never hurts to have input from the members. :-)

The "Council of the Wise" is nearly complete! I received a copy of it yesterday, added my own revisions and submitted it back to the CON for final approval. DA Jonaleth Isradia has put a lot of time and effort into this project, and it shows. The CON will make the official announcement when its ready for official release. Right now it has to be coded and added to the Clan website, so expect to hear about this very soon!

The amount of changes that have taken place within the Clan in the past few weeks has been astounding! Things are improving in all areas, and while the Summits deserve a pat on the back for their accomplishments, it is you the members that deserve the high praise and congratulations. We serve you, not the other way around, and it is a pleasure to do so. The number of awards and promotions, not to mention SA activity, clearly show that this is an active Clan! The continued efforts to recruit new members is also evident as our numbers continue to rise even with the occasional departure of a member. The efforts by the Masters and Envoys to train our younger brethren continues on the upswing, as can be seen by the number of recent promotions within the Clan. Keep up the great work everybody, CP is a force to be reckoned with!!!

If you haven't checked out the "System" info on the Clan website lately, please go do so. A lot of work has been put in by many people to make this complete, and I am truly impressed with what has been accomplished since the beginning of the year. Great work to everyone that has contributed to this project, it looks great! :-)

I wish to commend our resident Webmaster on his great work on the Clan website. With each week the site continues to improve. It won't be long before its fully completed. I do want to remind the Summit members that if they log into the website they can modify their personal information, such as being able to add your rank to your name so it appears complete on the Summit list. Just a hint. Hint, Hint. Get it? ;-) (Yeah, the PCON should lay off the home brew ;P)

In our universe, Darth Cupid strikes with his 'blaster of love' every year!

Forcing the most unlikely situations upon men and woman of all species, age

experience when Darth Cupid struck you with a bolt of love! Were you forced

Specifics:

In an attempt to make our team a more military oriented organization,

I discovered the fact that there is no logo for our team! It is your

objective to create a logo for our team. With that, we need one!

This Logo would no doubt be worn during all of our team activities!

I give you free creative reign in regards to the design. As a minor

stipulation, however, I would like the complexity of the image to remain

fairly low. Remember, Requiem is a military arm of our house, not a fancy

celebratory guild!

  1. Title: The Dawning of War – A HSK Run-on

I've posted the first post of the new house run-on here:

I look forward to seeing the creativity that you guys have and where

you take this story. Kromtal and I will be making sure that things

basically stay on track, but monitor yourself and make sure you stay

on course with what everyone else is writing.

I plan on letting this run until it comes to an end, so it's up to you

guys how long this lasts. At the end I will be awarding the top three

members who overall make the best contributions to the run-on. They

will receive Crescents for their hard work. Also, we're gonna pick

out the best individual post overall. This person will receive

something, but I'm not quite sure yet what that will be.

I hope this is fun and if you have questions let me know. Oh, the

first few posts might be a little short until we see who's all on

board and then I'll give my orders, which will speed things up. Just

thought you guys should know that.
