Intro!

Greetings Members of Oriens,

Well then, it’s been a while, damn, where did the time go?

As copied from Jac, I am going to add a word to discuss this report. I know…not very original but still a fun thing to do. Without further await, here’s the word.

”Change”

Yep, that’s the word. Why? Because Oriens had quite a change the last week. Our beloved Quaestor Ma’ar, or called Smoke by the rest of us ;), has left the high reign to get to serve as a member of the Obscurum. I have taken the reigns from Aedile to Quaestor, I can tell you it isn’t very handy when suddenly the Quaestor hat is pushed upon your head.

There comes a lot with Quaestor, you need to have a record for everyone in the House, about their activity, their ranks, their awards, what awards to give, who to promote, who to kick. Christ I never felt this much like a Stalker.

Even your lovelife! Nah, not true…lightening up the mood here.

And I also need to take over House Envoy! Not that I mind…just letting you know…

As another Change, my Aedile spot needed to be filled, and who is better in cleaning up my trash piled desk and my dusty office than a woman? Nah, really. Devani is an excellent member of the Obscurum House. She was an extraordinary leader within Bas-Tyra who amazed me so much that she was the most obvious choice. She has started her rule as Aedile and as the Lady of the Arcona I expect great things from her.

Then we needed to Change the Battle Team Leader position. After a long talk with Devani we both came upon the name of one man for the Job. Xaviar. My Apprentice and shoeshine boy. Oh…no that was someone else…

Anyway, as my apprentice Xaviar has shown dedication and interest towards leadership. And while most people have doubt we, Devani and I, feel we owe him a chance within leadership. Closely watched by both Devani and I we will make sure Bas-Tyra will be the star of Oriens once more.

On one final note, The gaming night channel will from now on be #DBGaming. This Change is to separate the Grand Master Royal Guard stuff from the Gaming.

Time for another Change…yes…time for me to change the subject and start with the Reporting. A long intro…yes…but I hope it was worth it.

Well then, time for my conclusion of this week.

This week has been a quiet one, more at ease for most members, but that’s not bad, we cant be expected to rock every week of the year.

Déjà vu? Yep. It was the same intro I wrote two weeks ago. We are slowly fading Oriens.

I hope that the change will be of good effect for activity. Things like this happen but we are all there to end it. You can blame me, of course, but eventually you will just look upon yourself for the lack of activity. I can’t pull a gut at your head forcing you to be different.

Devani will do the next round of Competitions and the next report. Good luck Devani. I have faith in you ;)
