Intro!

Greetings Members of Oriens,

Well here we are again, another report from your friendly neighborhood Quaestor Draken Romanae.

So…what the hell is happening?

I turn to you now Oriens. I have done a lot for the feud, for the clan, for the house and even for myself. But where is your support guys and galls?

I hope that this will improve. After the feud I am going to seek for an Aedile DB wide. Why? Because I feel that there are too many limits here and I need someone with experience and a knowledge of Leadership.

This brings up to this weeks word.

Honour

A simple word with a deeper meaning. There are many meaning to this word but what do I mean with it? Well simple, I mean honour to your house.

huh?

I would like you to question yourself if you feel any sense of honour in what you do in your house, in Oriens. Do you just see Oriens as a place to be in or just some nice little oversized Battleteam which doesn’t mean anything more to you than a roster and some annoying guy that complains about activity and gives promotions once in a while.

What I believe? What I believe that a House resembles a bond of brothers and sisters. Ready to fight for each other and being together in one unifying group. Maybe a fools dream, or maybe the most leader-like thing I have ever said.

Closing

Well then, time for my conclusion of this week.

hmm…

Yeah because I do not know what to say now. I could tell you how proud I am to be a Quaestor of such an active house. But I would be lying if I said so.

I saddens me to see this House fall into in-activity so easily. And sometimes I even wonder why I should even try. But I just lift my shoulders and try to set an example for those around me. Maybe I am now drowning in awards or maybe I aren’t such a good leader at all.

But I do know that I do everything in my powers to keep this house from falling down into the well. When that happens there is no turning back. I may have brought this upon myself due to my lack of Aedile, taking the whole House Summit duty up on my shoulders. But I try, I try so you can come online everyday and still see that there are some that believe in Oriens.

Now go forth Oriens! Make me proud!

Story

This is a special feature I wanted to add to this report. A Story. Each report will have a part of a story. Just something to keep you having fun while reading it. Like a present to you. If you do not want to read it, then don’t, it’s not like its going to be in the trivia or anything. Enjoy!

The Obelisk moved trough the base, the walls shimmering with crimson glow as the fires that lit the wall gave light to the former colors of this once Sith base. Ylith was fascinated by the colors and the bluish glow from his Valheru sword gave a purple contrast to the walls around him.

The Knight stopped in front of a large wooden door, old fashioned styled to give it a more sinister look in the darkness of the Base. The Knight lifted his fist and landed it with a soft thud onto the door, who opened slowly as he did, permitting him entrance. The office had a high ceiling, in the back there were long and slim windows, four of them next to each other permitting light into the darkened office. The walls were dark red, almost black and decorated with purple war-banners hanging down the wall, all embroidered with Arcona logo’s in the center. Below the banners were book cases with a whole collection of books regarding strategies, battle tactics, ground battle, space battle, aerial battles and ways of the Force.

Ylith turned his gaze forward, watching the consul, Halcyon, sitting behind his dark wooden desk in a large chair. Shadow was cast over the Consul yet the Obelisk could feel the eyes of the consul burn trough his being and he decided to move to the desk and bow slowly.

When he did the Obelisk noticed that his report on the findings of the Lifestone was already scattered over the Desk and the Knight felt uncomfortable all of a sudden.

”You wished to see me sir?”

”Yes Ylith, I find your findings about the emerald most delighting, please, sit.”

Ylith sat down in a smaller but still darkened chair as the Consul rose from his and moved around the desk to sit on it.

”That Lifestone of yours, tell me more about it…”
