My apologies for the lack of a report recently. Between May Sweeps, some real life issues, and an ongoing saga with MS over my WinXP there just hasn't been as much opportunity for the extra things recently. However, that's all behind me now. May Sweeps concluded last week with the station that I work for coming in a solid 2nd for the first time in 5 years. My real life issues are finally coming to some resolution, allowing me more time online and for other things. And as for WinXP, well lets just say that after an ongoing fight the past few weeks with MS over their own issues, I was sent a check to purchase another copy of WinXP. If you want to know the rest of the story on this then find me on IRC and I'll be happy to explain. But suffice it to say that its the first time I've ever seen MS reject one of their own OS'. :P
There are some additional monthly awards still to come for some of our Summit members. My apologies guys, the CON asked me a couple days ago to write up some recommendations for them and I'll get those done in the next 24 hours I promise. Its just taken me a few days longer than I had anticipated to recollect most of my data from the past month. :P
A lot of things have been going on lately so I hope everyone has been paying attention to the DJB and Clan news postings, as well as checking on your House sites (if applicable). I've noticed a ton of emails floating around about various matters, and it seems that the Clan has continued to keep the SA busy as well. ACC activity seems to have slacken a bit, so I want to remind our RPG folks to get involved and go whoop some butts in the ACC as often as possible. MP activity seems to be moving ok, but I think there's always room for improvement there as well, so lets go get those CFs and deny the other Clans the rewards! ;)
As most of you are aware we did a major sweep of the Clan to determine who was still active within the Clan. The conversion to the new Google Groups helped provide a unique opportunity to do this since it narrowed the list of those that needed to be contacted. The result however was a bit more excessive than either the CON or I had intended it to be. 36 total people were removed from the Clan due to their failure to make contact, with these being evenly divided between our two Houses. And although it did temporarily knock us down to 69 members, we are already rebounding quickly with our numbers now up to 75! Welcome to all of our new members, as well as a few returning folks from the Rogues! :)
A new policy is now in effect for our Clan IRC channel, #Plagueis. Effective immediately the channel is now rated "PG-13" to counteract the recent incidents of discussions and topics that are not deemed appropriate for discussion. Any topics concerning sexual acts or the use of foul language are now prohibited. Anyone that violates this policy shall first be warned (publicly and privately), if the actions continue then the individual shall be kicked from the channel. If they return and continue, then they are to be banned immediately, and then inform the Clan Summit of the incident, providing a copy of the log detailing the infraction. A reminder to all, only the CON may remove a ban on someone. Anyone found removing a ban without permission from the CON shall be dealt with by the Clan Summit. We're not trying to turn the channel into a boring place, but we do have a lot of underaged members and we need to ensure that they are equally protected and allowed to have fun.
I'm working a new project for the Clan. The plan is to create graphics to represent our listed possessions on the Clan website. I sent the CON an option for the "Banner of the Chameleon", but haven't yet heard back on the most recent version. I hope to have this project concluded in the not too distant future, but with preparations underway for the GJW and other things, I'm not going to set any deadlines. :P
There's some needed updates to be done on the Plagueis website, so I'll be bugging the CON this week about getting them done. Now that I have access to everything again this shouldn't be a big deal. Good job to everyone that helped bring us new ships and fighters in the recent Feud and Tal Invitational! The Clan has benefited greatly from your skills and sacrifices. :)
Results from Week 13 of the Plagueis Caption Contest will be released soon. Week 14 will begin shortly after, and will go until next Sunday to ensure that a full week is allowed for entries.
The data is being collected for the Monthly SA and ACC competitions. However due to some PC problems this past month some of the SA notices were lost, so I'm going to have to go through each member dossier to collect the necessary SA data. Give me until next weekend before you come bugging me about these awards. ;)
Hopefully we'll see a new issue of the Plagueis Chronicle very soon. The CON and I have been inquirying into this and have been informed that a new edition is in the works. I'm sure after nearly two months this should be quite the expansive edition. ;)

- Title: The Madness of Sarin
Specifics:
Clan Plagueis Elder, DJM Sarin has temporarily gone mad with dark visions
from the specter of Darth Plagueis himself. He has killed several
Acolytes in a fit of black rage and struck out in a Delta-class JV-7
Shuttle. He must be recovered unharmed and brought back into the fold so
that we may see what new revelations he heralds.
The Modified Corvette Hells Iris has been released to you for the
mission. You are to assemble a team and devise a means for Sarins
return. Reports indicate he is enroute to Korriban. Intercept Master
Sarin at Korriban and escort him back to the Brotherhood.
This will be a minimum of 5 pages single-spaced TNR or Arial 12pt font. Im
specifically looking for:
Detail-oriented stories evidencing research and knowledge of the clans
workings and lore.
Discuss Sarins sudden madness and possible explanations for it based
on your observations. You neednt resolve his temporary insanity, leave
that to the Dark Council.
Remember this is a Dark Jedi Master. Maintain realism throughout the
story and ensure your methods of dealing with and capturing or convincing
him to return meet reasonable expectations.
Create a complete story arc consisting of preparing for the expedition,
embarking, encountering Sarin at Korriban and returning to Brotherhood
space.
Other than that, have fun with it. Will you assemble a team of mediators
and hope to reason through Sarins madness imploring him to return? Or
will you try and overpower the Dark Lord forcing him to return with you?
What will you encounter on Korriban or along the way? Who will you take
with you? These choices are yours.

Specifics:
This is to strengthen the Clans mental prowess for the upcoming GJW. I

the catch is there will be letters and punctuation missing from the URL.
The clan members job is to figure out the URL and mail the completed line
to me. The first person to send me the correct URL first will get first,
second gets 2nd, ect.

Specifics:
This is a competition for all of the Jedi Hunters and below of House Satal
Keto. A fairly easy competition, that requires no skill.
You are to contact a member of the House Summits, (Venquis, Daniel
Stephens, or Julius Caesar) by any means possible. You will be conducting
a private interview with them, asking the following things:
How did they venture into the Dark Jedi Brotherhood?
What has been their greatest feat in the Brotherhood.
When did they reach Knighthood?
What is their primary goal for the next few months within the house?
What do they expect from the members of House Satal Keto?
What major House level competitions are in the works?
Is there any way that you as a member of the house can help out?
When finished asking all of the questions, send the conversation through

The Summits members should not have a problem answering the questions, and
if they do not get back to you within a certain amount of time, go to
another one.

- Title: Raxor Kidd: A History
Specifics:
Not much is known about Raxor Kidd except that Captain Calliban Crimson
placed the young boy in Alonzo Bodelle's place when the devaronian was
captured by Exar's Shadow. He is a young, overzealous individual who
desperately wants to permanetely replace Alonzo. He is a young human in
his early twenties, but this is all that is known about him at this time.
Besides this, nothing else is known about this character. This is where
you come in. I want you to create a history for Raxor Kidd, and it may be
anything you want as long as it involves what was losted above. Use the
Wanted List on the website for information on what exactly I'm looking to
find out about this kid. You may create his past history, childhood, and
all that stuff as long as you include what I already have listed. If you
have any questions feel free to ask Aabsdu, and remember this is going to
become a part of Exar Kun history and the upcoming Clan Epic, so I'd like
for everyone to at least try.
