A disburbance in the Force

Dark Jedi Master Aristan Dantes rose, ripping his bed sheets off and somersaulting off of the edge of his bed. His twin curved lightsaber hilts arced through the air and arrived in his waiting hands. The room instantly illuminated from the synthetic bloodshine of Sith blades as they crossed and uncrossed like scissors dissecting the unseen attacker at the midsection. The two halves of the attackers body fell to the floor, bloody froth foaming from the upper portion of the torso's mouth.
"You will Die Sarin, the anonymous attacker managed to gasp.

Sarin brought his blades to the blood and foam streaked face of the unknown assassin. "You first," Sarin said, as both blades entered the eye sockets of his assailant.

Hours Later at the Dark Tower Audience Chamber

Dark Jedi Master Sarin sat on the Iron throne at the center of the Dark Tower Throne Room as a holographic projector deactivated. Sith Battlelord Salth Khan stood at his side. Both wore their Sith robes in honor of their great Order.

"Do you believe them," Sarin said.

"I did not sense malice", Salth said, " This could be used to our advantage."

Sarin nodded, "I agree. Make the arrangements."

Competition Creation: There are two important things everyone must do when creating competitions for Clan Plagueis. The first is to make sure your competition is titled [CP] for Clan Competitions, [HSK] for Satal Keto Competitions, and [HEK] for House Exar Kun Competitions. When you title competitions this way, it makes it much easier for our members to scan the Competition page and find our current competitions. The second thing you need to do when creating competitions is have them approved. If you are not in a leadership position you need to have your competition approved and find someone to award your medals. Then when you turn in the competition you can list the approval of your clan summit and who will be awarding the medals in your competition details.

**Prodigy of Plagueis: **In case you missed my announcement, Tek Cicero Dantes has been named the new Prodigy of Plagueis. Tek was awarded this honor for his domination of recent XWA/XVT competitions, his ACC work, and his dedication to Clan Plagueis. Congratulations Tek!

Consul Competitions: I have released four competitions. Participating in Consul sponsored competitions is a great way to catch my eye, and that is a great way to find yourself promoted/awarded! The following four competitions start now, and run until the end of the month

<li>CP Monthly Fiction: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/competitions.asp?ID=1820.
This month's topic for fiction will be hunger. Writers will have until the end of the month to submit 2 page, 11 font, times new roman stories to Dark Jedi Master Sarin. The fiction may be about both mental and physical hunger.

<li>CP Monthly Poetry: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/competitions.asp?ID=1821. This month's topic for Poetry is Arrogance. The Poem may be in any format that the author wishes, but it must contain at least 40 words. Submissions are due to DJM Sarin by the end of the month.

<li>CP Graphics: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/competitions.asp?ID=1822. Clan Plagueis is in desperate need of graphics. Members of the Clan may create any "Clan" themed graphics to submit to this competition. Special attention will be paid to graphics sporting the Clan Name, House Names, BT Names, and the Jusadih System. In addition, any graphics designed to work in our website scheme will also receive a tad more interest in grading. Graphics should be sent to Sarin and Salth by the end of the month.

<li>Smart Dark jedi: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/competitions.asp?ID=1823. This competition is a Shadow Academy Race. It will be based on what members can take the most Shadow Academy Courses over the course of the rest of the month. Members will receive one point per course taken. Any Shadow Academy Course with the Word "Leadership" in the Title will receive an additional bonus point. Any course with the word "Conflict" will receive an additional point as well.

Distribution of Awards: Clan Plagueis has recently received Several new additions to our military forces. I have decided to divide those forces in a relatively equal way. Houses receiving new equipment need to have the names for these new craft to me by the end of next week. The new equipment is divided as follows:

<li>1. Gamma Class ATR-6 Assault Transport. Awarded for the Envoy Challenge. This craft is now assigned to the Clan Envoy Position. <li>2. Delta Class JV-7 Escort Shuttle. Awarded for the Envoy Challenge. This craft is now assigned to the Envoy of House Satal Keto. <li>3. Delta Class JV-7 Escort Shuttle. Awarded for the Envoy Challenge. This craft is now assigned to the Envoy of House Exar Kun. <li>4. VT-49 Decimator. Awarded for the Four Way Feud. This craft is now assigned to the Consul. <li>5. VT-49 Decimator. Awarded for the Four Way Feud. This craft is now assigned to the Proconsul. <li>6. 12 Tie Defenders. Awarded for XVT First Place, Tally Tournament. Squadron named Avenger. These craft are assigned to Clan Headquarters. <li>7. 12 Tie Defenders. Awarded for XWA, Tally Tournament. Squadron named Intruder. These craft are assigned to Clan Headquarters. <li>8. 1 AT-AT. Awarded for Tally Tournament. This vehicle is assigned to House Satal Keto. <li>9. 2 AT-STs. Awarded for Tally Tournament. These vehicles assigned to House Exar Kun. <li>10. ULAV. Awarded for Tally Tournament. This vehicle is assigned to House Satal Keto. <li>11. ULAV. Awarded for Tally Tournament. This vehicle is assigned to House Exar Kun.
<li>12. 40 OOM Droids. Awarded for Tally Tournament. These droids are assigned to House Satal Keto. <li>13. 40 OOM Droids. Awarded for Tally Tournament. This droid is assigned to Clan Headquarters.

Information Minister/Plagueis Chronicle Editor: The position of Plagueis Chronicle Editor is now open. The Plagueis Chronicle is the Clan's private news publication. Our current editor (Lucien) has not returned emails in over two weeks and the Chronicle has not been published in two months. Applications should be sent to Salth and I. Have them submitted by 17 June.

PG13: Salth and I have placed a PG13 rule in our Clan Channel due to excessive vulgarity and questionable discussion topics over the past month. This rule really does not change anything, we only ask that people avoid excessive cursing, discussions on pornography, rape, incest, racism, and hate speech. All members of Clan Plagueis are instructed to enforce this rule and have the ability to warn and kick anyone from our channel for poor behavior.

Jusadih: The Jusadih system is located just off the Koros Trunk Line between Coruscant and Teta in the Deep Core. Please use this map for a reference and please be sure to update this in any fiction you may be doing about our system. di Plagia: I have now served as the longest active Consul in Plagueis history. Next month I will reach my 6 month mark as the Plagueis Consul. To coincide with this event, I will be naming the Clan name of di Plagia to one member of our Clan. Stay tuned!**

If its a House matter, I do ask that you take it up with the House Summit first, then if that doesn't resolve your problem, feel free bring it to my attention. If your problem is with the House Summit in general, and by that I mean both the QUA and AED, then by all means come to me immediately, as well as the Consul, and we'll help resolve the problem ASAP.
