Galeres Brothers and Sisters,

Here is another lovely report for you to feast your eyes upon. Again the majority of this report involves the GJW as that is the major event going on in the DJB. If you see anything missing in my report that you feel should be included, drop me an email and I'll make sure (within reason) to include it in the next report.

DJB: Obviously the GJW is still going on and is to last until August. Macron of CNS was appointed the new DSC Tribune. Muz was elevated to the rank of Dark Side Adept, very well deserved! And Smoke released guides for the Sunday Invitational Tournament and Gaming Nights as well as rules on MP Gaming Forfeitures.

Arcona: Our clan is doing very well in the GJW, currently ranking at third amongst the clans, very very close to second. I know we can attain an even higher rank so we expect participation! We have done so well thus far I know we can keep it up, if not become even better. HOO just finished an AWOL check leaving them lean and mean at 35 active members. We may be one of the smallest clans BUT we work harder than any other as proved by our recent successes!

Galeres: Every Saturday, at 1pm EST in our IRC channel of #arcona, trivia is going to be run by Gavin or Kosk. This trivia covers various topics, ranging from Star Wars in general, to DB history, Arcona history, etc. You know you want to come participate ;) After all, there is awards to be won, trivia to be found and learned and of course Gavin and Kosk’s sparkling personalities.

Please welcome two new members: NOV Maiven (Sith) and APP Jamarra Rayne (Sith). Any questions you two may have feel free to ask Selene, Quejo or I.

GJW: Arcona is still in 3rd place, thanks to the hard work of many of you members and only 180 points behind CNS and 681 behind Talydran. If you keep up the good work we will stay, if not rise in our current position. Awesome job people! Keep it coming! Galeres did very well in the Dark Maneuvers (JA) event with our very own Quaestor, Quejo, coming in third place. In 5th, 6th, 8th, and 10th places we find, again… Galeres members! Khobai, Koskian, Selene and Karel (in their respective order). There is still a lot to do in the GJW, so don’t let those Galeres members steal all the glory! Do your part and participate in these competitions. As usual the full information on all events, plot, rules and results can be found the Great Jedi War website: here.

•Investigations, the Writing-Fiction competition is due Sunday, get those submissions in!

•The Run-on is still going full-swing, log onto the forums, read up to the current post (make sure you understand what is going on before posting!), then write up and post. Try to help the current storylines to move along. This lasts the entire war.

•Espionage, part 1 is the current ACC portion of the GJW. You can still start those battles and if you feel up to it have up to 6 running simultaneously (this does not include any battles outside of the GJW).

•Pursuit: X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter ends July 5th. (two days!)

•Pursuit: X-Wing Alliance ends July 5th. (two days!)

•The Antei Campaign, creation phase is an RPG due July 23rd.

•The Sword is Mighty: Battlefront II, CTF mode ends July 20th.

•The Sword is Mighty: JA ends July 20th.

•The Sword is Mighty: JO ends July 20th.

•The Swords is Mighty: Other games (like Jedi Knight, Republic Commando, etc (any FPS if requested by 5 members) due July 20th.

•Hunt Down and Destroy: Allegiance (MP, RoC apply) Identify yourself on IRC as RED or BLU when ready to play, these are your teams not your clans. Must be an even fight (3vs3 not 3vs2) against the opposite color (RvB not BvB or RvR). Ends July 19th.

Aaaaannndddd….that is the end of it. Took me an hour and a half to compile (all those submissions!), I’m starving (my breakfast has been waiting!) as I had to do this in my school’s computer lab (woot woot) while I get the stupid internet worked out on my laptop. If I made any mistakes, oops, you can tell me if you like (depending on whether they're big or not). Normally I would give you a link to a funny SW video, cartoon or joke but this email is already long and I don't have the time so I'm just going to suggest watching Reign of the Fallen (you can find it on theforce.net fan films site) it is one of the best fan films I have seen yet.
