I'd like to say I'm quite pleased with the majority of our members. The new ones coming in are enthusiastic and partaking in what the club has to offer, while the older ones continue to lead the way by example. As an Envoy, if you get the chance I reccommend it, you can see younger members come in and look around and sometimes be overwhelmed by all the club offers. Helping them to sort it out is very rewarding. Feeling like in just some small way I helped someone to better enjoy their precious free-time here, and perhaps even learn something, is a great reward for the bit of work I do here.

As I'm sure you've gathered by now, HSK QUA SBM Daniel Stephens is stepping down due to a very busy work schedule. Unfortunately we won't have his direct leadership for the remainder of the war, but we will have him as a more active participant in it as a result. It was great working with Dan and we can't wait for his real life to free up a bit more time so he may rejoin the Summits where he belongs.

As a result of this unexpected news, OP Silent moves up to QUA to guide HSK to victory in the titanic stuggle we're currently involved in with the other clans. I have been made AED and will do what I can with the hope of making a greater impact on our success from there.

This leaves us without an HSK Envoy. As DJM Sarin mentioned in his report, if you would like the honor to serve your fellow Ketoans as Envoy and Rollmaster, please send an application to QUA OP Silent ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]), CP Envoy KP Valerian Orzon ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]), and myself, AED DJK Raken ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) if interested. Please know that this is an active position that will most definately be what you make of it. If you maintain a good level of contact with your members, you will see them advance and improve and ultimately contribute to our standing within the Clan and Club. If you do nothing, you will see nothing happen and therefore waste everyone's time.

I don't want to scare anyone off of this position though. It's really not that bad, and like I said, it's rewarding. It's also a great way to get noticed by the higher-ups for advancement. If you're looking for rank, you won't usually find it save through participation and service. We need dedicated members who want to further the House/Clan/Club and themselves. If you chose to apply, I suggest you take, if you haven't already, the Leadership Applications course at the SA. It will give you some good ideas and tips for doing a nice application that will certainly enhance your chances of getting the position you seek and attaining your goals.
