We're nearing the end of the GJW, or at least I think I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. :P If you haven't yet participated, and there are some, now is the time to get in there and do something! I'd also like to see maximum participation in the RO. We've made some great progress, but there are a lot of people who haven't bothered to participate yet, and a story only becomes better with more characters! So go join in today! :)
The Grand Master released a new layout for the DJB website, its called the "Episode III Wide Screen". It utilizes the full screen if you use a screen resolution up to 1800 pixels! Personally I've always loved this layout, so I'm happy to see this new version. Good job, Jac! :)
The Writer's Corner is now back in full operation. There are presently only 5 reviewers, so don't expect instantaneous replies after you submit something. The old address for submissions is no longer valid, from now on use [Log in to view e-mail addresses]
If you haven't seen them yet, you should go check out the new images for the Legion of the Scholar, the Dark Side Scroll, and the Scroll of Indoctrination. On behalf of Clan Plagueis I wish to thank Cyris for his hard work and devotion to improving our aging award images! The new images can be found on the Codex and presently on the DJB news page.
The Gaming Nights will resume on Tuesday, August 15th! The Sunday Invitational Tournaments will resume on August 26th! Mark your calendars folks, that's when Clan Plagueis strikes back and lays claims to tons of CFs! ;)
A new Shadow Academy course opened up recently, it is called "Force Philosophy", and I highly recommend it! I found the course quite instructive, and not to boast, but after clearing my 100% on it, I feel that it is by far one of the best additions to come to the Shadow Academy in quite a long time!
There are also other new courses, as well as other older and equally important and informative courses available at the Shadow Academy. No matter your rank, you can always benefit from advancing your knowledge and wisdom in the Dark Side and the Force. Take some time each week to complete at least one course. Plus, they look great listed on your dossiers! ;)
He may not be a member of this Clan, but he is an old friend to many of us that have been in various SW clubs over the years. I wish to extend a hearty congratulations to Spears Tarentae of Clan Tarentum, who was recently bestowed with the rank of Dark Jedi Master. For us old timers, its great to see yet another of our number reach that level of power and recognition within the Dark Brotherhood! Congrats DJM Spears! :)
I'd like to personally congratulate our House Summits on the fine job they have each been doing to improve their respective Houses. Extra kudos to OP Silent and DJK Raken on the tremendous job they have done as the new QUA and AED of HSK, respectively. They each were literally thrown into their present positions without any real preparation or warning, and have worked hard to turn things around in HSK. They may tend to be quick to react to things, but that comes from working through the "aches and pains" of learning a new command position, so give them a break and some consideration for what they have inherited. DJM Sarin and I expect great things from these two new members of the HSK Summit. As for HEK, well SBM Aabsdu (yeah, I'm not typing your whole name :P) continues to surprise us with new things every week, and the addition of SW BubbaX helps bring a new element of planning and ideas to the House. Great job to all of you, you have much to be proud of! :)
Equal congrats and thanks to our Envoys, who work diligently to make life as smooth as possible for our newer members. Congratulations to GRD Arcadian who has been selected to be the new Satal Keto Envoy! He's got a lot to learn, but he couldn't ask for a better mentor than KP Valerian Orzon. Hats off to JH Jaysen Erdon who continues to plug away at promoting and guiding the new folks in HEK, quite an achievement! And speaking of Orzon, if you were not aware this hard working, and equally hard charging, Clan Envoy was recently awarded the Sapphire Blade for his incredible accomplishments and major contributions to Clan Plagueis. Congratulations Orz my old friend!!! :)
Plagueis Caption Contest - Part Deux! is now underway. The forum is now active and the first caption is posted! Details and instructions for both the competition and for submitting your entries can be found through the forum. I've already received one submission, and I hope that many more people will be encouraged to participate than in the past Caption Contest. These are fun, and also are easy awards to receive to build up your resume and dossier! Good luck to everyone!!! ;)

- Title: Plagueis Weekly Caption Contest Part Deux
Specifics:
Part II of the original Plagueis Caption Contest. Each week a new image
will be released to the Clan-at-large. Members will submit a caption
statement to represent the image. This competition will run until the end
12/31/06.

evolving competition through the end of 2006, with Third Level Crescents
awarded monthly to the Top 3 Clan ACC Champions!

Specifics:
A monthly competition where we reward the three most active members of the
Clan for their efforts in continuing their training at the Shadow Academy.
The members who successfully complete the most courses will be awarded
Third Level Crescent awards.

Plagueis Pronconsul will oversee the tracking and recording of all
completed courses each month, and will submit reward requests at the end
of each monthly period. Due to the late start date of this competition,
results will be back dated to 03/01/06 to ensure a full months record for
March.
- Title: [CP]Trivia '06
Specifics:
Every month, a list of twenty-five trivia questions will be released to
the clan. The first three to answer the most number of questions correctly
will be given fifth level crescents along with three, two, and one
point[s]. At the end of December, when the last three winners are chosen,
the three people with the overall most points will be given fourth level
crescents. This competition will run from August to December, and feature
a total of 125 questions and 18 crescents.
The questions range from Star Wars history, brotherhood history, and some
behind the scenes questions. Many of them, however, will require some
research to answer correctly. Due to this, I have provided a link that
should assist you in answering almost all of the questions.

- Title: [HEK]Warrior of the House
Specifics:
The House Summit is looking for Exar Kun's most talented warrior, so we
have started this search to find that person. Over the course of the Great
Jedi War, I will keep track of how many Cluster of Fires everyone earns.
Come the end of August, the person who received the most overall CFs for
the entire duration of the war will be awarded a fourth level crescent.
Two more crescents will be handed out to the second and third place
finishers.
Also, there will probably be a delay in results since I'm sure CFs for the
whole war won't completely be handed out until a week or two after it
concludes. Due to this, I'm allowing this competition to run until the
third week of August, so you'll have some extra time to keep earning those
medals.
