</td> </tr> <tr> <td> This Week: Member's Ideas</td> </tr> <tr> <td> Thanks to DJM's Sarin and Halcyon, we've completed a proposal that is geared toward making use of some of the stuff on all of our dossiers. It's gotten the preliminary blessing of the DGM and is waiting with the GM as we speak. They'll run it through what needs to be done, I'll make tweaks and changes as need be, then I'll dump out the info concerning it and get it crammed into the Compendium somewhere. This will be another example of membership getting involved; a well presented idea that Halc and I could actually work with - kudos to DJM Sarin for the idea and motivation of it.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> Ideas are great, we welcome them - but make no mistake, some work and some don't. We've had a lot of great ones that just can't get done, be it coding issues or simple mechanics and intent of the ACC itself. However, just cause you're idea doesn't work, doesn't mean we don't look at each and every one and weigh it's contribution to the Centre and its membership - so, keep 'em comin'. We might be horrible at keeping up on the idea's progress, maybe even let it slip to the back burner, but a little nudge can remind us to update you as need be.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> Send Feedback to the Judge</td> </tr> <tr> <td> The links of similar titles on battles, CS's and all that stuff are directed to me and, in some cases, the ACC staff mailing list - most of the time, NOT the person you intended. If you wish to berate (:P) the person who Judged your battle, it would be good if you mailed them directly - unless you want me to see it :) Also, I know of no staff-member that makes their comments with malice. Sure, some are 'more friendly' about their comment and some can be kinda indifferent, but none of them are out to 'smear' you. So, if you're hot about a rating, CS declination or anything like that - take a breath, compile your thoughts and, at the very least, determine if your tirade is worth it and if it will serve to accomplish anything apart from pissing people off :) Equally, questions regarding CS's and declinations should be sent to the person that declined it.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> GJW: The Ultimate Duel</td> </tr> <tr> <td> A bit of an FYI concerning time-outs and DeathPosts (since most are quickly approaching the last minute): "If Player 1 [or first to have a DP opportunity] times out in writing the DP, the right goes to Player 2. Then the battle is over. If Player 2 times out, it is simply over. Or, in other words - just the intuitive solution: Each player gets exactly one shot at writing a deathpost." ~ DJM Kaiann So, keep that in mind!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> ** ACC Job Openings</td> </tr> <tr> <td> http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3318</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> **On Deck...</td> </tr> <tr> <td> Post-GJW hiatus competitions from the ACC will include, another CHL and PCHL and another ACCLive! Tourney; right off the bat. After those are underway or completed, we will start a new 'chain' of larger competitions that will hopefully run fairly regularly, which will obviously be based off of interest. These will include a Clan competition that will span multiple aspects of the ACC from Team matches to single player. It will require the creation of Clan ACC Teams, but more on that as it gets closer. This years 'big' co-op is also coming, especially since last years was a little weak :) We will also see a Family comp, similar to the Clan comp, called Ascendancy of the First family - or something like that. It will be for families and non-Clan teams (referred to as alliances prolly, since they're not a family). So, the list is long for things that will be made available to you. Apart from that is the "stuff". We're going to be incorporating some new things to use in battles, like battle suits and other weapons, so keep looking for that. Most like the regular battles, but sometimes you just got to spice it up a bit. Most of the things that were incorporated a while ago haven't even been tapped into yet, so also plan on seeing a few 'smaller' scale competitions that focus on using what we have, like the battle options. Have a great weekend!
