Trials of Plagueis: The Trials of Plagueis took place this weekend. Several members participated in the Code breaking competition. Scorpius, Salth, Ryu, Silent, and Koga all completed the competition on Day 1. Scorpius finished first, Salth finished second, and Ryu finished third. Here are the answers for each Trial:

1. The number code spelled seeing red. Members then needed to highlight the red background on the trial to reveal the hidden red font that revealed red text from the Sith Code. The Answer for Trial 1 is: power

2. Trial two was the hardest trial. It consisted of a letter code where A=W, B=X, and so on. Once an accurate key was created members had to use the key backwards to solve the code (so A actually equaled E). Once the code was solved the clue was "my species". The answer for Trial 2 and the species of Darth Plagueis is: muun

3. Trial three was easy based off of the visible clue. The code was broken by A=Z, B=Y. The clue was the Sith Capital and the answer for Trial 3 is: korriban

4. Trial four was a letters=numbers=symobls code. In other words A=1=!. The code and the answer for Trial four is: Sigil

5. The fifth trial was a number code where P=1 (my first letter, my=Plagueis). The answer to Trial 5 is: holocron

The winners of the competition were led to the storage room of Darth Plagueis where our two new Clan Artifacts were discovered:

The Holocron of Plagueis appears as a Sith synthetic type crystalline holocron device. It is a tetragonal pyramid. The outer shell is formed of electrum, and this coating surrounds the synthetic crystal beneath. Fine wires and laminae penetrate the crystalline matrix. Intricate lattices and vertices store massive amounts of information held secret by the Holocron's Gate Keeper, Darth Plagueis.

The Council of the Wise has learned that the first tier of instruction on the Holocron is accessible to Equites and focuses on the enhancement of weapons and Dark Armor. The second tier, accessible only to Elders focuses on the genetic engineering and enhancement of sentient creatures. The third and final tier remains shrouded in secrecy, though rumors state it is a pathway to the most secret of powers created by Darth Plagueis.

The Lightsaber Crystal of Darth Plagueis originated as a Korriban Sigil Crystal. Sigil crystals are known for creating lighsaber blades that radiate intense heat to the point of igniting flammable material within six inches of the blade.

Through intense meditation prolonged exposure to Darth Plagueis, this crystal radiates the Dark Side of the Force.

The Plagueis Lightsaber Crystal has been reserved for the use of the Plagueis PCON.

Sapphire Blade: I have not given appropriate attention to the recent string of Sapphire Blade winners in Clan Plagueis. Congratulations to Orzon, Salth, and Aabs all on their recent Sapphire Blades. A Sapphire Blade is the pinacle of work for a Clan member to achieve. Those who are awarded this Weapon have proven to be active in improving both Clan Plagueis and the Dark Brotherhood as a whole. Congratulations guys! Oh yeah, I have one more to award!

GJW Awards: Clan Plagueis took home a host of awards and decorations for the GJW and the past month's activity. Congratulations to all of these people: Grand Cross for Silent. Steel Cross for Famosus. Star of Antei for Arcadian, Koga, and Daniel Stephens. Dark Cross for Virulence, Jaden, Achilles, Jaysen, Tek, and Rannik. More awards to come!

Nintura: The Planet Nintura rests in the Jusadih system. You can read the current description of the planet at: http://plagueis.darkjedibrotherhood.com/system.php. I am not satisfied with this competition and have created a competition for a complete rewrite of this planet. From today until the end of the month members can submit new Nintura planet descriptions to Aabsdu and myself. The winner will have his entry added to the Clan Plagueis website and considered Canon for the System Manual. Monthly Poetry: Okay, I have never been a poetry guy and on my monthly Poetry competitions I have gone to the revenge, vengeance, hatred well one too many times. This months topic is Boba Fett. Thats right, Boba Fett. Any format as long as the length is 50 words or longer. Email me the submissions. Due date is the last day of September.

Website Additions: The new Battle Team guide has been placed on the Clan Plagueis website. You can also find a new Calendar set up on the website. Great work to Salth and Bubba for putting the content online.

Bloodlines: The new Star Wars novel continues to develop the return of the Sith to the Star Wars galaxy. This episode of the Legacy Saga also has the return of Boba Fett and the Mandalorians. I highly encourage fans of the Republic Commando series to read this novel, you will recognize many characters returning (the novel is also written by Commando Author Karen Traviss).
