House Exar Kun

The office was a mess, containers and boxes everywhere, recently delivered by transport from the Dark Tower on Sigil 1, to the headquarters of House Exar Kun on the planet Aerun. Battlelord Salth Khan stood in the doorway to his new office looking at the mess, silently considering if he should seek out the deliverers and make a mess of them in turn. But then he decided against it, since such selfish pleasures were best left to a time when his duties would not intrude. Khan had just been hand picked to be the new Envoy to House Exar Kun, a position he'd held before and was intimately familiar with. But now he has the task of organizing his new office, and then sorting through the activity and other issues as they related to the Journeymen within Exar Kun. The Battlelord snapped his fingers, and several droids went instantly to work unpacking and setting the Envoy's office in order. Once they were through the Sith sat down in his new chair and sighed, now it was time to get to work. As he began to sort through the dossier files on his new charges, a protocol droid delivered a pint of his favorite ale. Now he was truly ready to begin...

I would be remiss if I didn't start by thanking DJK Jaysen Erdon Dupar for his sacrifice and time as the last Envoy of Exar Kun. I raise a toast in honor of Jaysen, a proud warrior and loyal member of House Exar Kun! :)

My reports will of course only detail the activity and information as it relates to our brothers and sisters of Exar Kun holding the rank of Acolyte or lower. The QUA and AED will of course track all activity and information for the entire House, but my primary duties lie with our younger members who have not yet attained the rights to become a Student, and are still struggling to learn the ways of the Dark Side.

This week I contacted all of our APP to ACO members. A number were removed due to the recent AWOL Check conducted by the Proconsul. At this time our roster presently stands with only 3 members that fit this category. I guess my work will be easy for a couple of weeks. :P

In order to be better prepared for service as a Dark Jedi, I ask that our Journeymen that were personally contacted by the Envoy this week respond to that email. Reason #1 is because I want to make sure your actually received the email. Reason #2, I want to be sure you understand the instructions given, and this is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have so that we can help you move forward to higher ranks and a better understanding of the Dark Brotherhood.

I also want to remind our new members that in addition to the emails you may receive reminding you of what you need to do in order to be promoted, you may also find the same information on the Clan Plagueis website at ( Pre-DJK Promotion Guidelines. If you have any questions about where to find anything, or how to go about doing these things, please do not hesitate to ask me.

  1. Title: Plagueis Weekly Caption Contest Part Deux

Specifics:

Part II of the original Plagueis Caption Contest. Each week a new image

will be released to the Clan-at-large. Members will submit a caption

statement to represent the image. This competition will run until the end

12/31/06.

  1. Title: Plagueis Monthly ACC Duel

Specifics:

Each month the Top 3 Clan members that obtain the most victories at the

ACC will be awarded a Crescent for their accomplishment. This will be an

evolving competition through the end of 2006, with Third Level Crescents

awarded monthly to the Top 3 Clan ACC Champions!

A monthly competition where we reward the three most active members of the

Clan for their efforts in continuing their training at the Shadow Academy.

The members who successfully complete the most courses will be awarded

Third Level Crescent awards.

March.

  1. Title: Taking a Trip...

Specifics:

Write a short fiction piece about taking a trip outside of the Jusidah

system. Must be at least 1.5 pages in length. There is no maximum length.

Entries go to Dismal [[Log in to view e-mail addresses]].

The top three winners will receive third level crescents.
