SATAL VICTUS REPORT:

News:

Firstly, I feel I need to apologize. I have done a few things that were not

right. Firstly, I have neglected my responsibility as a leader to actually

lead. Secondly, I have neglected my duties and missed two reports. Finally,

though I do not regret what I said in that email, I feel that I caused

stress to some people. Even worse is the fact that through that, I kept my

job while a commited fellow BTL lost not only his job, but his team without

forewarning.

Now, I welcome those of us that are new to the team. I have welcomed you all

personally, now I say it to you as a team. Welcome to Satal Victus, great

and noble Plagueians. This great new change brings two things: regret, and

rejoice. I regret that many lost their position and standing, and as before,

I apologize to Rannik and his FLs. But let us rejoice that we have been

brought together in times of weakness to form an iron fist. Let us carve

through the records and spread our influence to the Brotherhood itself.

So many things have changed, and I have had a part of it. As such, I say

this: Let us not regret or be angered by the past. What's done is done.

Change is a painful process, but as with a person, our teams, now our team,

have lingered too long, weakened, in shreds, our collective "body" growing

fat. Change shows the pain as we build the muscles of this proverbial body.

We are on the path to greatness, Victus. I will say it again, and for the

last time(hint hint): Honour By Blood!

Commander's Orders:

This is a new thing I'm trying out. I will say what I hope for the team to

aim for. Follow these orders, Victus, for I will be following them as well.

In this new time, let us see my first orders:

  1. build yourself. Aim for personal gain, and try to better yourself.

Without it's members, Victus stands no chance.

  1. build your team. In all that you do, remember that this is your

battleteam now, as much and more than it is mine. I want all of our team to

hold at least acquaintanceship. If you play MP and see a team member being

ganged up on, help them out, lend a hand. If someone slanders a teammate,

take their back. We need to build on our teamwork if we are to remain a team

at all.

  1. build your clan. I want you all to remember that Plagueis, and the

Brotherhood itself, means to maintain honor and kinship. Respect yourselves

and your kin, and by kin, I mean all within the Brotherhood. So others may

show you disrespect, or dishonesty. Do not repay them in kind. Instead, be

honorable and respectful, and show them what one who is like this gains.

#Plagueis=pg13

Now, yet another thing to stress: The #plagueis channel rating. I have seen

what other leaders have said, and I believe that Sarin tried to clear that

up. So here's my go:

  1. Cut down on the swearing. It's not no swearing, it's watch your mouth a

little. Some words may be tolerated, but let's not go on an adventure to

find out.

  1. Be respectful. I have heard the term "have fun, just not hardcore fun"

and I see how vague that is. Here's the rundown: Most people don't wanna

know or care who you did, how you did it, or what you did to get it. No one,

or very few of us, wanna hear about rape, child porn, or any of the other

crap that this world would be better about. Just pretend there's a really

quiet four-year-old in the channel.

  1. Listen to others. If someone says stop, then stop. If you offend someone,

apologize. Whether the others show class or not, make it your duty to. What

could starting a fight over getting told no possibly gain you?

Congratulatory section:

Here is yet another new spin on my reports. I will no longer do what every

leader has done, listing off who's done what as if they were just numbers.

Here, I will personally congratulate you.

First off, I will repair an error I made some time ago. With my lack of

reports, I have forgotten to congratulate one of my older comrades. Senka

Rakesh, I did not get to say how proud I am of your promotion to Protector.

It happened some time ago, but my neglect gives me no right to skip her

over. Congratulations!

Also, in the night of writing this, I recieved the letters for other things.

Firstly, I congratulate PRT Niman Master for his new Dark Cross. Your first

merit award, but by far not your last. Good work! You've taken off, Niman.

Time to fly.

Secondly, congratulations Dax Corrin! You have climbed to the rank of

Battlemaster. Having any equites in the team is a boon to the group, but to

be promoted the very night you join! I have to say, if that's what you can

do, then we can expect you to go very far.

Now, the transfers. We have had the honor of merging with Keto's Vengeance.

Welcome to the team, all of you. Now, with our renewed strength, we can get

to a great place if we so choose.

Finally, welcome to Daniel Stephens. Before the BT merge, he asked to be

appointed to the team. Considering what he has done in the past, Raken

didn't ask for or, for that matter, need to ask for, my OK. To have someone

such as DS on the team gives us all something to aspire to, and let us aim

not to be carried by his shadow, but to cast our own.

So, in conclusion, I will summarize: Sorry Senka, welcome KV and DS, and

congrats, and Dax and Niman, holy crap that was fast! I am thoroughly

impressed. As my final word, if you all want to be fawned over in this way,

then you should strive to be as active as or more so than this group.

New Policies:

I know, some of you may be saying, "Who's he to be making rules?" when I say

this, but I will answer that first: I am the commander of this team. As

such, it is my responsibility to watch over this team, and to ensure it runs

as it should. Therefore, any mess-ups are, above all, my fault. As such, I

put rules in place to try to minimize those mess-ups. So, here are my

policies.

  1. The three H'es. Honor, honesty, and humility. Exercise these, and you

will do well.

  1. Follow the rules. I mean everyone's rules. Follow them, please.

  2. Majority rules. If something is wanted by you for the team, talk to the

members. If the majority is for it, my opinion means crap.

As the biggest part of this, if you want a new leader, talk to the others

about it, try for majority. If majority tells me to screw off, then I will

go graciously.

Conclusion:

Many big changes, all. Let us prepare for them. This will probably be the

last time I get to say this, so let it's cry ring true among our numbers:

Honour By Blood!
