Sith Commander Report

SATAL VICTUS REPORT:

News:

Again, I apologize for something. This report is a day late and, though that may not seem to be much, I realize that it is my sole responsibility to ensure reports come out on time. Therefore, I say it again: I apologize for the tardiness of my report this week.

Victus, it is time to say farewell to a member. Rannik Narius has recently departed from Clan Plagueis, and the reports say he has gone to the Kr'Tal System to join the ranks of Taldryan. I know why he left, and how he left, but it is not my place to spread the business of others. Farewell, Rannik, and thank you for your time in our noble and great Clan.

Now, we look upon a great and glorious new era of the Brotherhood. In the aftermath of the Great Jedi War, we thank our own Vexer for the next page. She has been the victor and sole contestant of my first History Competition. Soon, another competition will be forged to expand our history, and I welcome all of the team to contribute.

Commander's Orders:

I set forth orders similar to last weeks at this time. As before, you are to build yourself, your team, and your Clan. Here, however, are some new goals:

  1. Make friends. This is a battleTEAM, and we need to enforce this. I wish for all of you to speak to and become familiar with everyone on this team, and whether you found this on the forums, mIRC, E-mail, or even in the ACC, you should all be at least acquaintances.

  2. Learn your lore. The Star Wars Universe is huge and diverse and, as this is a SW based club, we should know whatever we can about it. Therefore, I want all of you to learn as much SW lore as you can. I will make Lore comps in the future, and I expect you all to be prepared.

  3. Sharpen your skills. In all that you do, all that you enjoy, be it in RL or in the DJB, you will find it more enjoyable with a measure of skill. Remember, even the most well-crafted blade needs sharpening once in a while.

  4. Achieve Knighthood. For Dax, Sunflash, and DS, I am greatful that you have moved as far as the Equite ranks and still have the humility to act as a BT member. To our Journeymen, I wish for you all to attempt to reach DJK in as speedy a time as you can.

#Plagueis=pg13

  1. Cut down on the swearing. It's not no swearing, it's watch your mouth a little. Some words may be tolerated, but let's not go on an adventure to find out.

  2. Be respectful. I have heard the term "have fun, just not hardcore fun" and I see how vague that is. Here's the rundown: Most people don't wanna know or care who you did, how you did it, or what you did to get it. No one, or very few of us, wanna hear about rape, child porn, or any of the other crap that this world would be better about. Just pretend there's a really quiet four-year-old in the channel.

  3. Listen to others. If someone says stop, then stop. If you offend someone, apologize. Whether the others show class or not, make it your duty to. What could starting a fight over getting told no possibly gain you?

Regardless of whether or not this takes place, I will state it every week, as a reminder. If you don't wanna hear it anymore and you already follow the rules, skip this part.

Congratulatory Section:

This section will sadly be quite short this week, as the only promotion, medal, or other gain that I have been told of within the team has been my promotion to Jedi Hunter, which I had to discover for myself.

I believe that whoever handles the BTL e-mails needs a smack on the back of the head. I have not been notified for medals, SA courses, promotions, or ACC matters on a consistent basis for some time. Whoever's responsibility it is to see this through needs to tune up their performance.

Policies:

  1. The three H'es. Honor, honesty, and humility. Exercise these, and you will do well.

    1. Follow the rules. I mean everyone's rules. Follow them, please.
    2. Majority rules. If something is wanted by you for the team, talk to the members. If the majority is for it, my opinion means crap.
    3. Participation and Activity. Once per month, on the 30th or 31st or, for february, the 28th or 29th, I will send out a sort of AWOL list. Any who are still active need to respond to this, unless priorly excused.
    4. Speak up. All of you have voices. If you have a complaint about a policy or a member of the team, House, or otherwise, speak to me about it. I will keep it confidential unless you wish otherwise and I will aid in any conflict resolution between members.

Conclusion:

As a final word, I say to you all to check the competition page. I have posted four easy, fun competitions. All have been approved. I have recieved one entry for one of them. Come now, Victus, I need entries for at least the Motto Comp.

'till the fifteenth of October:

Honour By Blood!
