The Rollmaster’s Note

Been a busy week for me RL wise. RL work is hectic and I spent ore time there than at home. Now on to exciting DJB stuff!  We had quite a few new members come our way. Each of them contacted. Title: Plagueis Monthly ACC Duel

Specifics:

Each month the Top 3 Clan members that obtain the most victories at the

ACC will be awarded a Crescent for their accomplishment. This will be an

evolving competition through the end of 2006, with Third Level Crescents

awarded monthly to the Top 3 Clan ACC Champions!

Specifics:

A monthly competition where we reward the three most active members of the

Clan for their efforts in continuing their training at the Shadow Academy.

The members who successfully complete the most courses will be awarded

Third Level Crescent awards.

Comments:

Plagueis Pronconsul will oversee the tracking and recording of all

completed courses each month, and will submit reward requests at the end

of each monthly period. Due to the late start date of this competition,

results will be back dated to 03/01/06 to ensure a full months record for

March.

The unseen Eye Events!

Week 2

JO:

You look deeply at the dead body of Dessan wondering why you were sent here to kill him, but you couldn’t ponder that thought long enough before your eyes began to burn. You fall to the ground with your hands over your eyes screaming a bloody scream like never heard before. Then the floor falls beneath you and you fall and fall until you land in a dark room, your eyes stop burning and you open them, tears fall down your face but you manage to focus on the room. The smell of a rain forest is in the air, and you can hear troopers in the distance, you activate your saber and move forward……

Fiction:

Your saber deactivates as the room you cleared of Jedi went silent. In the distance you hear footsteps draw closer and closer to you. Then a clap follows and an evil laugh, you turn around only to have a flash of light hit you so hard you fall but you don’t hit the ground you fall and fall until you land in the middle of a forest….you look around and you see the clear as day the 2nd Deathstar in the sky and a fight in the back ground. You activate your saber and rush forward to the fight.

Objective:

Write a 3 page min, 12 font TNR, On the fight your going to encounter and if you can stop the destruction of the Deathstar.

Poem:

•Reflect on the end of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. What will you feel, see, think? 2 stanzas in Free Verse (meaning no meter restrictions).

Graphics:

Darth Plagueis knows of his seer victory over the clan and demands the best of the best to prefect him in a grand drawing. No limits.

Title:

[CP] October Picture Prompt!

Specifics:

Plagueis, this is a new competition designed just as the monthly fictions and poetry events run, except this adds a little more spice into it. I will send a picture to the clan via the mailing list, and you must create a fiction (any kind be it poetry, or fiction) about that picture. This picture must be but a mere snapshot in your story, therefore, you ARE NOT describing what is going on in the picture, you are writing a story about what is going on in the picture.

This is just like giving you a topic to write about, but you have a little more freedom in what you are going to write about.

Members who have attained the rank of Acolyte:

ACOYLTE TO PROTECTOR

Complete TWO of the following tasks:

1.Participate in a Competition

2.Earn Five Clusters of Fire from Gaming Nights

3.Complete the Qualification Battle for the ACC

4.Pass the ACC Initiates Course

5.Chat in #plagueis on mIRC for 10 hours

OR, instead of completing two of the above listed options, the Acolyte may choose to pass five (5) additional General Studies Courses from the Shadow Academy.

AND, complete the Leadership Studies or Leadership Fundamentals course at the Shadow Academy. (This course will not count for one of the five additional courses for one of the Acolyte promotion options.

5.Download and install IRC and chat in #plagueis with clanmates

Following the completion of ONE of these tasks (none of which were completed BEFORE being promoted to Novice), the rank of Acolyte will be granted.
