</td> </tr> <tr> <td> This Week: ACCLive! Tournament!!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> The ACCLive! Tournament is on! Round 1 is this weekend, Saturday and Sunday. From the news post, the MB topic and a report, you should have known the bracket was up and the match-ups were made on the 1st of October - giving you a few days to actually set up your time to get together with your opponent in #acc this weekend. Good luck to all!!! From the last pertinent news post: 10/4/2006

The bracket can be seen in the ACCLive! Ladder sub-hall of the Live main hall, here; http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/acc/hall.asp?id=63

Just a couple of reminders:

  • Battles for the tournament are only counted on Saturdays and Sundays in #acc

One round per weekend (rematches due to unforeseen circumstances will be handled during the following week, before the next round begins, Contact Kat Pridemore) - Round 1 must be fought this weekend (Oct 7 & 8) - For this round, the top member of each pairing on the bracket (the member literally displayed on the top of the pairing) is responsible for first contact to set up the match (the other can do it, but the top is 'responsible', it's best to CC Kat Pridemore when making challenges) - If the fight fails to occur, the bottom member of the pairing wins by default, unless it can be shown that an attempt to contact was made and/or ignored (hence, best to CC Kat Pridemore when making challenges)

  • Concessions 'can' be made if fighters aren’t available on the weekend. Contact Kat Pridemore.

  • CF's will be awarded 'after' the entire competition is over

  • Fighters will not report their matches as normal

</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> Championship Ladders</td> </tr> <tr> <td> The PCHL has been open for signups for a few days, with 11 people signed up so far. This is one of the two 'title bearing' ladders of the ACC. You can't get the title of ACE if you don't win and you can't win if you don't play...and you can't play if you don't sign up!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> The CHL signups will be coming shortly.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> ACC Training Reformation</td> </tr> <tr> <td> Okay, so it's time to start letting some 'official' information trickle out about this, especially since we had GREAT news this week on its development. Here's the short and sweet of it - the ACC will no longer train members prior to qualification. When this goes into effect, training of Initiates will fall on Clan Trainers that your Clan leadership will hire/appoint. These Clan Trainers will train their members in their Clan's training hall - which have already been created. The great news this week is that GM Cotelin has made MAJOR headway in allowing Clan Trainers to have access to their Clan's training hall...only...which is one thing that had been a stumbling block for a long time. There are some requirements, and there will be some structure from our end but, for the most part, Clans will dictate their own training - I am a HUGE fan of this, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with the proposal :) So, if any Clan leaders are feelin' froggy - it might be a good time to start looking at who you may want as your Clan Trainers. We're going to start with a max of 2 per Clan and see how it goes - but that will not be the 'standard' - your "need" will dictate your Trainer count (unless we end up capping it), but we have to start somewhere. Don't freak - as of right now, nothing has changed - business as usual...but this is coming! _ More to come..._</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> </tr></table>

<tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> On Deck...</td> </tr> <tr> <td> Four things that are left to deal with that were on my 'dream sheet'; Creatures, the next Co-Op and the two Inter-Clan competitions. I really should get a 'schedule' for this stuff. No worries - once the Training Reformation is underway and the ACC staff is re-structured, we'll be focusing on these large-scale endeavors a bit more. <p>DA Dalthid; Combat Master</p></td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> The ACC Staff</td> </tr> <tr> <td>DA Dalthid [CM]; 3/2003</td> </tr> <tr> <td>DJM Halcyon Rokir Arconae [DCM]; 9/2004</td> </tr> <tr> <td>DA Telona Murrage [OPR]; 2/2005</td> </tr> <tr> <td>KE Nekura Manji Keibatsu [TRN]; 2/2005</td> </tr> <tr> <td>KAP al`Lan Mandragoran [TRN]; 4/2006</td> </tr> <tr> <td>KPN Seraine "Erinyes" Ténama [TRN]; 9/2006</td> </tr> <tr> <td>DJK Baron Zarco [JUD]; 4/2006</td> </tr> <tr> <td>DJK Rasilvenaira StormRaven [JUD]; 7/2006</td> </tr> <tr> <td>KAP Kat Pridemore [LJA]; 4/2005</td> </tr> <tr> <td>SW Shikyo "Rurouni" Keibatsu [LJUD]; _ 1/2006_</td> </tr> <tr> <td>DJK Menace [LJUD]; 3/2006</td> </tr> <tr> <td>SW Brujah Tamalar [JUD]; 8/2005 *extended LoA; est. return 12/2006</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>In Training*</td> </tr> <tr> <td>N/A</td> </tr>
