HLK Aedile Report 16th October 2006

Hi guys, how you all doing?

Couple of things to announce this time.

Firstly I'd like to say a big thanks to everyone who entered the One of our Frigates is missing! comp, crescent winners have been selected and recced will hopefully coming to a dossier near some of you soon.

There were some very good entries, however two people stood out by submitting great entries in all three sections.

So I'm happy to announce that DJK Ashia Kagan has successfully defended her position as Tetrarch of the Jade Serpents, and OT Ylith has been appointed as the new Commander of Sapphire. Congrats to both of you!

I'm going to be speaking with them both about helping get you all geared up and excited about next months House Feud, and lots of other fun stuff for you to do.

On the subject of fun stuff for you to do, last week I sent out the HLK Survey, a list of questions asking you all for input on the House and how it's run, and also asking you what sort of competitions you'd like to do.

Had three replies back so far, hoping for a lot more back, I'll send it out again at the end of this week. Come on people, this is your chance to voice ideas and say what you like doing and how you want your House to progress. If we don't know there isn't much we can do about it.

There is one last thing. Having looked at the current level of activity and after conversations with Sildrin, Godo and Manesh, I am going to be temporarily closing down the Iron Fists Battleteam to concentrate our active members into the Jade Serpents and Sapphire Squadron. This is temporary and when activity grows again in the house we'll reopen the third BT. We're currently doing an Awol and I'll be moving active members into one team or the other.
