News from the Front:

Nothing too drastic happened this week, a few new large scale competitions are in the planning at this time. Also we are almost thru with the planet description of Morroth, thats our House planet for those who dont know. Keep up the activity, remember the fun that is derived from this club comes from you the member. Oh and also dont forget to go and take my new Astronomy course!

The Darwin Award:

I want to add this in with my reports every week as a testament to stupidity within the world at large, this weeks is:

A winner from Brazil, who tried to disassemble a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) by driving back and forth over it with a car. This technique was ineffective, so he escalated to pounding the RPG with a sledgehammer. The second try worked--in a sense. The explosion proved fatal to one man, six cars, and the repair shop wherein the efforts took place.

14 more RPG grenades were found in a car parked nearby. Police believe the ammunition was being scavenged to sell as scrap metal. If it wasn't scrap then, it certainly is now!

Specifics: This is a pumpkin carving contest for Clan Plagueis as we move into October and Halloween!

Entries are made by carving a Jack-O-Lantern using an actual pumpkin, a craft pumpkin (a fake foam pumpkin) and submitting a picture of it, or, creating a graphic, drawing a picture, or using any other creative medium you can think of.

The entry just needs to be in the tradition of the Jack-O-Lantern. It can be funny, scary, whatever you like.

The top 3 winners will receive 3rd Level Crescents based on the overall quality and detail of their entries.

Specifics: Plagueis, this is a new competiton designed just as the monthly fictions and poetry events run, except this adds a little more spice into it. I will send a picture to the clan via the mailing list, and you must create a fiction (any kind be it poetry, or fiction) about that picture. This picture must be but a mere snapshot in your story, therefore, you ARE NOT describing what is going on in the picture, you are writing a story about what is going on in the picture.

This is just like giving you a topic to write about, but you have a little more freedom in what you are going to write about.

Title: The Unseen eye

Ok 1st JO:

JO will have 3 maps put out once a week I will have it where they take a SS of the ending and one has a mission log which I want them to take a SS of each time they complete a recc in the mission. At the end of each week there will be a JO ladder the person who turned in there submissions 1st will get a champion spot meaning they only have to fight for the winner while everyone else fights up to him. After the 3 ladder is done a 4th one will be held where the 1st and 2nd placed winners in each comp will compete and the last person standing will fight me. The purpose of that is for the story where they are really fighting Darth Plagueis the JA will be the same on the 4th week.

Fiction, poems, and graphics, ACC

If people don’t have or want to do JO they can do these this will be like another story line in which he sends them into the same thing as the others but in a writing way. In the end it will lead to a ACC fight with “Darth Plagueis”

For each week I will put out an e-mail for the next comp of MP or writing making it into 2 stories for witch path you take (mp or writing).

Point system:

1st place 5 points

2nd place 3 points

3rd place 2 points

Competing 1 point

So if you get 1st place you can get 6 points.

Awards I want to give out 4th level crescants for the comps and 3rd level for top 3 over all.
