Quaestor’s Note

Fairly busy week for me, hence why you haven’t heard a whole lot. No worries, this will change. ;-)

News

First, the Master at Arms retired early this week. His dedication and service to the position and the Dark Brotherhood will be missed. No one has yet been named and the Grand Master has opened applications.

Second, the Deputy Grand Master has stepped down to return to his clan. Having worked with him personally on the DSC staff, Goat was an excellent Deputy and extremely picky which allowed for the current portions of the DSC to be so great. Anyways, the Grand Master has given him the great honor of promotion to Dark Prophet. He is the third to receive the rank since the Exodus. Congratulations!

As for Clan news, not a great deal. BubbaX has returned after his computer problems forced him to vacate this seat. Welcome back! Silent was promoted to Obelisk Exarch! And Aabs continues to assign many duties to others. :P

Communication

As you all should have seen, I want to see a great deal more communication between each other than has previously been done. Use the Exar Kun googlegroups to get to know one another, discuss things, debate, even do something so simple as tell someone not to go see a movie you just did because its terrible. I will not be picky on what you guys talk about, just so you do. This is of course assuming it stays clean and does not get out of hand. I would not recommend discussing politics, religion or any other “hot” topic issues. We all want to be friendly, not be at each others throats. ;-)

Competitions

There are currently a ton of unique competitions running at this time. I would like to see all of you at least try to participate in one or more. A lot of them are month long competitions so you have plenty of time to work on an entry. Let’s see some activity and competition participation!

Battleteams

No current Plagueis Summit report would be complete without the Battleteam spiel. Currently, Exar’s Shadow is in a very good state, however, if ES fills we can open Blades of Kun and that would not only mean more fun for Battleteam members but also provide another leadership position for an aspiring member. The benefits of a Battleteam are simple: specific, unique activities, more chance for awards, increased promotion rate and overall small unit camaraderie. Who couldn’t resist?

Take SA courses, read manuals, help the Summits if you want, and do other activities

I want to see communication and participation. If you haven’t picked up on that yet, I pity you. :P Also, my office is always open for any reason. And that’s about it. Since Ky is such a good Aedile, he will fill in the gaps. ;-)
