The young Sakiyan gazed menacingly at the holo-recorder as the lowly Arcona technician flipped a switch, a red light came on and the human looked at Etah and have him the thumbs up. The obsidian skinned Monk was not personable or charismatic. He had not spent his life learning how to motivate, support or direct people. The proud Dark Jedi had spent his life learning the way to mental and physical power. These kinds of public addresses were not really his forte.
The soldiers experienced eyes locked onto the camera. His eyes were both alive and dead; his look was ghostly and disturbing. Through his eyes you could see a frightening visage trapped within his soul. The face inside his eyes was a ravenousness undead demon reborn as a Dark Jedi, tempered with the force and sharpened by rigorous and regular physical, mental and spiritual training. The Obelisk warrior was forged in the shadows; it invaded all aspects of his being, from his skin, to his gaze, to his very soul.
" Greetings members of the Qel-Droma Battleteam " Etah began. His voice was deep, slow and his words were deliberately chosen. " Some of you know me, others of you do not. " The Sakiyan paused. " But the House Galeres summit has seen fit to appoint me as leader of this battle team. Three of you, were members of the battleteam already, three more I personally recruited into the team and the last choose to join in order to support me and the house Galeres. An action I appreciate very much. the Obelisk warrior paused again briefly.
" The Qel-Droma battleteam is directly descended from the House Qel-Droma as a few of you well know. Many years ago a Sith Warrior named Shark, helped the Arcona founder Nighthawk lay the foundations for Clan Arcona and became the first Questor of the House Qel-Droma. This House dominated the Krath Order and was a fundamental element of the Clan Arcona until it was decommissioned not along ago. Simultaneous to its decommissioning was the founding of the Qel-Droma phyle in the house Galeres. its first commander was the clan Arconas current Consul" Etah continued.
The Sakiyan paused, his face taking an a very alien qualify to it. " I mention this only because the history of the house Qel-Droma and the Battleteam Qel-Droma are our legacy as a group as is our namesake. Both the battleteam and the house Qel-Droma are named for the apprentice Dark Lord of the Sith Ulic Qel-Droma, a powerful historical figure who remains a complex paradox of strength and power. All these concepts are fundamental to who we our as a group, our cohesion and espre de corps. It distinguishes us from every other battleteam in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. "
Suddenly at a loss for how to continue his epic introduction Etah pauses nearly mid-sentence and begins again just as abruptly. " My only hope is that I can honor my Master, my good friend Selene, my house, my clan, Shark and Ulic Qel-Droma by the superior commission of my duties as battle team leader. With the mish-mash of strength, weakness, experience and enthusiasm contained within our ranks I believe we can become a dominant force both in our clan and in the Dark Brotherhood. If we work hard enough, the masses will again tremble at the name of Qel-Droma"
Etah starred into the darkness as the holo-broadcast was cut off.
Introduction
OK guys. I am new, most of you are new, some of you are not, spiffy. Since my role play ended up so damn long I am gonna keep this portion short. We have got off to a good start, but we can do a lot better :P I think that if we try we can become a very strong presence instead of a soft whisper in the background, which we currently seem to be. I would like more communication within the clan, particularly from the members who were apart of Qel-Droma prior to my appointment. I would also like more competition participation. If you dont compete in Battleteam, House, Clan or DB comps I expect a very heavy gaming presence.
If you can think of any ideas, criticisms, comments, questions or concerns feel free to contact me at any time for any reason. If I cant answer you I will find someone or something that will. Feel free to tell me anything you want in private, any way you want. Be nicer in public though :P Well thats pretty much it for now folks. Without further ado; here is the current happening in the Qel-Droma Battleteam!

[Qel-Droma] As the light fades from your eyes
Both of my comps are easy easy, fun and good for character development. Also good for brownie points with me cause theyre my comps ! :P
This comp is an open ended Star wars based fiction put out by the fiction tribune that primarily features your character. Its also a minimum of ten pages, due by January 2007 and is awarding first level crescents !
A November monthly topic from the fiction tribune, its only a page and a half about your character training. Its quick and easy, fulfills fiction requirements for the ACO to PRT and PRT to GRD folks who need a specific number of pages of fiction. It awards 2nd level crescents.
