As I hope all of you have come to realize, it has been a busy week to say the least. Most of this you all should be familiar with but here a synopsis of major events. :P

Our very own Consul has been appointed Deputy Grand Master of the Dark Brotherhood. Congratulations go out to Sarin! It’s nice to finally have some CP representation on the Dark Council. ;-)

Halcyon Rokir is the new Master at Arms. I have had several discussions with him at length and I do believe that he will turn out to be very good. I look forward to working with him in the months ahead to get you all the medals and promotions you deserve.

Aabsdu has been elevated the position of Consul when Sarin vacated it. I have worked with Aabsdu on countless things, and when I say countless I mean that, and I have no doubt he will continue Sarin’s legacy of making Plagueis even greater than we already know it is. ;-)

I am not the Proconsul of Clan Plagueis. Thanks to those who have congratulated me. ;-)

New HEK Summit. While Ky Terrak isn’t a new face he was elevated to Quaestor. In my short term as QUA, I worked with Ky and his ideals are very similar to mine and I have no doubt he will improve HEK. Arso Slyth has been appointed HEK Aedile. Welcome aboard, Arso! Arso had served on the HSK Summit in the past and I look forward to seeing his leadership skills in action.

With all that pleasant, exciting, happy news, there is a negative one. Raken has resigned as Quaestor of HSK and has entered the Rogues. At this time, the leadership of HSK will be overseen by AED, OP Daniel Stephens until a new QUA is appointed. Aabsdu will probably give you the course of action we wish to take in his report over the weekend. ;-)

And most importantly, after a month hiatus due to computer problems, everyone’s favorite Sith Battlelord is back. That’s right, Salth Khan has returned…:P

Projects and Plans

The Consul has tasks me with overseeing the House Summits and the execution of their duties. I have asked them to take a more involved and active role with their members and I have no doubt you guys will be seeing their actions very soon, once they get settled in to their positions. ;-) If you have any requests that you would like to see from your Summits, please contact them or myself.

The rumored new promotion guidelines are completed and have received approval. The Clan Plagueis Journeyman Promotion System (JPS), utilizes a point system with a combination of requirements and Master’s tasks to assure a journeyman has done an adequate amount of activities to receive their promotion. In addition, with the new promotion system, the Knight Trials of Plagueis had to be modified and have been done so. Look for both of these soon on the CP site.

The Consul and I are continuing to work on the Clan Epic. This is a pretty big competition and will take a fair amount of time, but I know you all will love it when it is released. ;-)

Rules and Regulations

This goes without saying; the #plagueis channel is PG-13. Aabsdu has been gracious enough to reinstitute the all ops policy, although only Summit members and the Council of the Wise may change the topic. Please keep this in mind and do not abuse ops otherwise Aabsdu will get angry and take it away. And you won’t like him when he’s angry. :P

Orz’s Chat

As I mentioned I have asked the Summits to take a more involved role in their leadership. However, all our members must be responsive to them and get active as well. I want to encourage communication of any sorts over the House googlegroups (please try to keep the CP groups for official items). In addition, we have the message boards; a nice fun tool to chat with. And the infamous IRC is always an option. If you do not have IRC, you can download it at www.mirc.com. I look forward to seeing many new faces starting to talk it up. That’s right I said “talk it up.” So the word of the week is: COMMUNICATION!

Just a note, like all the other Summits, I too have an open door policy as many of you have come to realize since there has been a line outside my office since I was appointed. :P
