ICTE Tribune Report

Greetings,

Another weekend has passed, which means another report from your ICTE host!

The 2nd of December was a good day for gaming it seems, with a very good turnout from both DB and the allied clubs’ members. Most impressive was the team game count this week, 12 matches were played in various games, and an impressive number of CFs were handed for them. And it seems myself and Manesh are no match for the GE players, as we succumbed with a rather terrible score in 3 Capture the Flag games :P I can only encourage people to play more team games, especially with other clubs’ members, it can be a real test of skill, and it’s great fun! On to this week’s statistics…

Statistics:

  • 25 players

  • 19 DB players

  • 6 GE players

  • 90 matches overall, 12 team games!

  • 270+ CFs awarded!

  • Clan with most participants: Arcona (8)

To sum it up, more matches than the last two editions combined, and a plethora of CFs awarded, nice job everyone! And of course, like every competition, this edition has its winners. The top three placed in this ICTE are...

Results

<span style="color:#FF0000; font-weight:bold">Cr-1R </span>Zandro Savric Erinos (30 CFs, 9 different people)<span style="color:#FFFF00; font-weight:bold">ALL-STAR</span>

<span style="color:#660000; font-weight:bold">Cr-1A </span>Bane (15,67 CFs, 8 different people)

<span style="color:#0000FF; font-weight:bold">Cr-1S</span> Strategos (15,33 CFs, 7 different people)

It’s been tough to decide a winner this time, with several players having good CF counts; unfortunately, they couldn’t meet the necessary quota of 7 different opponents. People often overlook this aspect, although it’s the main condition for obtaining All-Star. Collecting 12 CFs is not that hard, but playing lots of people often can be difficult. Still, I encourage this edition’s “almost” winners to play even more next time! A good way of being sure you play enough is to switch teams often. This guarantees you meet the requirement, and it will pave the way to All-Star status.

This week’s All-Star is Zandro Savric Erinos, or CC for short, with 30 CFs obtained! In second place, Bane, with 15,67 CFs. This is Bane’s first ever placing in the ICTE. And in third place, four times winner Strategos, with 15,33 CFs. Congratulations to everyone who played, and keep up the gaming in your favorite weekly tournament!

I have an announcement to make on this occasion, Lucius has recently acquired an extra JA server for DB use, it will be ready for general use in a short time. This server will mainly be used in ICTE special events, including Tatooine racing, MERC wars, and a few more surprises meant to spice up the tournament. When the time’s right the server address will be posted in the DB server list, and myself and my staff will be waiting on the server to host some special events!

The CFs have been recced, and the website updated with the latest spreadsheet as well as the All-Star list. Thanks to Odin for making me these two banners :D
