</td> </tr> <tr> <td> This Week</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> ACC "Draw" Policy</td> </tr> <tr> <td> After careful consideration, a move was made to adjust the draw policy of the ACC. The relationship between drawing and timing out is a bit lopsided, so our efforts are being accomplished to bring them parallel. This change will take effect as of the posting of the adjusted rules, which is pending staff review. Notification will be made, in the form of a news post, once the new page is up. </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> The Archive</td> </tr> <tr> <td> As I mentioned last week, the Archive is undergoing some renovation. The basic idea, apart from the best battles of the ACC, is this; keeping 'completed' battles in the main halls and removing 'incomplete' battles by relocation and/or deletion. Quite often we tell members to read other battles to get a handle on the ACC; but that's a bit difficult when you have to spend 2 hours sifting through battle draws and time outs.

Phase 1: All 'timed out' battles are being relocated to a new sub-hall in the Archive called "Time Resolved" (draws will be handled later). This will not effect special competition halls/battles, those will remain where they are. Currently, all timed out battles from 2003 have been moved - slowly but surely, the rest will be also.

Phase 2: After all 'timed out' battles have been moved, those battles will be dealt with. In line with the time out policy, battles with no posts or only one post by a combatant will be deleted. We played 'devil's advocate' on the matter and couldn't come up with any reason to keep those battles - they don't do anyone any good. We will not (as of now) be deleting battles that have at least 1 post by each participant, regardless of how old the battle is - but they will be moved. </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> Holiday Reminder</td> </tr> <tr> <td> As we try to remind everyone each year; we're getting into the 'slow' time of the DB. People going on holiday, LoA's etc. make things around here slow down a bit - please be patient. </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> ACCLive! Dec '06 Ladder</td> </tr> <tr> <td> The Live! Ladder has been slightly paused, due to our decision to wait till 16 participants are reached. There are 13 signed up now and we hope for 3 more this week. Again, this ladder will be handled with a modicum of leeway because of the holidays, so don't be afraid to sign up. If you need more info, contact SW Shikyo "Rurouni" Keibatsu, or just go sign up.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> PCHL</td> </tr> <tr> <td> The finals are on! SBL Quejo Bandon Xyler versus DJM Halcyon Rokir - should be a great battle. Due to the RL relocation of the MAA this weekend, the finals have been postponed until Master Halcyon is finished moving house.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> CHL</td> </tr> <tr> <td> Truckin' along... a few battles have completed and have been set to "unknown" to get them out of the queue. As usual, I will rate them all once the round is reconciled.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> Eraser Competition</td> </tr> <tr> <td> This comp has had a great turnout and I am pleasantly surprised. To all who are participating, remember the post times and what the goal of your efforts are. We are still seeing challenges for the comp rolling in, which is excellent. Remember, the competition ends the 30th of December, be mindful of the guidance governing the end of the comp and what needs to be present to keep your battle "alive".</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr>

</tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> Just a reminder, everything that's running is pretty much it until after the first of the year. After the first of the year, however, we will begin to see the development of a few large scale events. The next ACC Cooperative competition will be coming as well as the Ascendancy of the First Family and the Centre's Elite Clan (formerly 'clan cup') competitions. </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>
