ACC Report: 27 December 2006
This Week:
While I am not actually home yet, still down in Florida, I have completed the judging of the 3rd CHL battles and the field is set for the next round. Those of you requiring the RoE have until Saturday (30 Dec) to mail me and request it.
The PCHL is still in the finals between Quejo and Master Rokir, they have requested a bit of an extension due to the holidays, so it will be taking a little longer than initially planned ¡V no worries.
The Eraser Competition is still going. Remember the last day of the comp is the 31st of December. After that, battles without the 4 post minimum will be closed; while those meeting the minimum will be allowed to complete. Keep in mind; battles that aren¡¦t of the 4 post minimum will not be rated, nor will the combatants be ¡¥removed¡¦ (unless they time out before then) from the comp. The battle will just be ¡¥closed¡¦. Should you wish it, we will allow them to finish and be rated apart from the comp, just let us know. They will not be afforded any wins or losses should you choose that course, some folks just don¡¦t like leaving things undone.
Promo?
So I got promoted this week¡Kthat was a complete shock. I read the promotion recommendations and I was equally shocked. Thanks for the kind words and the understanding of why I do what I do in the way that I do it. I know I¡¦m not always the nicest person to deal with, but the fact that you all at least understand my intent keeps me confident in the direction we¡¦re trying to move in the Centre. Now all I gotta do is work on my interpersonal skills º
Other Stuff
As I said, I¡¦m still not home yet. I will be making the drive back tomorrow morning and hope to be in by Friday evening. Due to that, I have none of my usual resources with me, so my various ¡¥running¡¦ projects were put on hold for my LoA. I¡¦m glad Halc was there to help you all out ¡V my mother has me doing her odd jobs so I didn¡¦t even really get to have the ¡¥minimal¡¦ contact I was hoping to. I built her a desk and a book case, bought and installed a new computer, re-wired a fan to a new dimmer switch, replaced the pump thingy in her toilet and switched out some fluorescent bulbs ¡V yea, Merry Christmas to me, LOL ¡V but she raised me, so I guess I can¡¦t complain, hehe. Anyway, I¡¦ll be back in a few days and then I¡¦ll dump out the really big news to the ACC and the DB¡K
