Ludo Kressh Quaestor Report 29th December 2006

Well its nearly New Year, Christmas has been and gone, and the bar the Runon points the Feud is over and Ludo Kressh has kept the title of First House of Clan Naga Sadow. Congratulations to all who took part in both Houses and again to Thorin for organising it. Now Thorin’s produced the MVP list we’ll be sorting lots of nice rewards for people who worked hard in the Feud.

I’ve been thinking about all this over the last few weeks. Things like the House Feud and the other competitions are essential on quite a few levels to this Clan and its members. Thinking back to the GJW there were a lot of different events, gaming on multiple platforms, JA, JO, XWA, BF2, EAW and so on, fiction, poetry, graphics, pinball and of course the runon. We did so well last time, as unfortunately so did Talydran, because as a Clan we were strong in all those areas and got consistent points across the board adding up to an impressive score.

That’s why when you see a competition you ought to give it a go. Not just because you get crescents and it looks good for your next promotion or medal, but because you develop your skills, giving you experience in new things and ensuring that when these big vendetta events come up we have good strong entries in each area. Plus like in some of the Feud events often if not many people take part you’ve got a great chance of scoring a crescent. As well as this I’ve said it before but let us know what sort of comps you want to do.

There are some great ones out now and I’m pleased to say lots of people have been creating them, graphics, trivia, still life drawing, fiction and a runon, there’s something for everyone. Check the list out below.
