</dt><dt>Hip Hip Horray </dt><dd>The biggest news is that Khobai has finally be asked to step down. He has laid ruin to the GMRG and hopefully someone will be placed that will bring it back to life.

</dd><dt>Don't Cheat </dt><dd>Recently,the Shadow Academy has had a little upsurge in cheating and/or potential cheating. If you're not certain if what you're doing would constitute cheating or not, contact Anshar.

</dd><dt>Antei System </dt><dd>A lot of time and effort has gone into finalizing the Brotherhood's home system. Take some time to read through a little bit about it at Antei System

</dd><dt>Tarentum Writing Course </dt><dd>Oberst has been running a course on writing for awhile now in Tarentum that is now being offered to the whole DB. The course runs about 16 weeks, and will focus on the short story. How to read, analyze and then write a short story. The course is of moderate intensity, and isn't like any other Shadow Academy course. There are weekly assignments and discussions via the DB forums, and the course requires a lot of analysis. </dd><dt>Gaming Night Changes </dt><dd>Gaming Nights have beeen changed around a bit. Every other week the nights will be different. This coming week will on Tuesday and Thursdays. Next week will Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Every week it will go back and forth between the two schedules.

</dt><dt>Battle Teams </dt><dd>I am really glad to see members interested in joining our Battle Team. Before you do anything please make sure that you take a look at the Battle Team Handbook You need to make sure that ALL of the requirements are done before you email asking to be accepted.

Requirements - The rank of DJK

Decent writing ability
You MUST be active!!!
Good IRC presence
Ability to create fun competition
At least a 48 hour email response time.
Although not a must -Previous Leadership Experience would help.

the rank requirement can be overlooked for a Jedi Hunter who has leadership experience and is recomended by his master.
