_Dawn spread over Ptolomea, the air was cool and calm. Rasilvenaira watched as the sky turned crimson, with hints of gold. “Hmm, a red dawn. A good day for battle.” The Warrior mused to herself. Turning away from the sunrise, she walked along the narrow wall that surrounded the Caliburnus complex. Hearing the approach of footsteps coming across the courtyard, she glanced down to the nervous expression on a Trooper’s face. She smirked, and leapt down from the wall, using the force to soften her landing, and then looked over at him as she stood back up.

“Yes, Captain?”

He bowed, quickly erasing the worried look on his face, “My Lady, the infantry legions are assembled and ready for orders, the assault legion is primed and waiting as well.”

“Excellent, I shall inform the Quaestor.”

He bowed once more, and turned crisply on his heels and departed. Rasilvenaira watched him go, and then headed across the courtyard, back into the main building. Her senses prickled, the force nearly crackled with the warnings of impending attack. War was coming, there was no doubting it now, and she would insure that Caliburnus was ready. Arcona would not go unpunished for its past crimes and indiscretions._

Major news – Sunday, January 28, marks the beginning of the war between Clan Scholae Palatinae and Clan Arcona. It is our chance to show Arcona, who have been our arch enemies for a long time, that we have what it takes to defeat them in battle. It is important that each and every member of Caliburnus goes out and competes in as many of the Feud events as possible. Every point counts toward CSP’s eventual victory!!

In other House news, I want to commend DJK Cethgus on reaching the final round of the ACCLive! ladder. He did a tremendous job, and congratulations go out to him for his valiant effort in representing Caliburnus and Scholae Palatinae in the event.

Closing Thoughts:

Children of the Sword, NOW is the time, once again Caliburnus is called upon to take up arms and be ready to defend Scholae Palatinae. The War begins Sunday, and I will be looking for each and every one of you to be taking part in as many of the events as you possibly can.
