RevengeX gripped his ignited lightsaber tightly in his right hand as he analyzed the situation before him. Five lightsaber-wielding combat droids in the front, and two behind. The droids did not waver as their computerized brains calculated ratios, information and all sorts of data. A bead of sweat trickled down the Archpriest's cheek and dropped to the ground. The Quaestor sprung into action, his index and middle fingers loose on the lightsaber's straight hilt. He ducked low beneath a droid's wild attack and then slashed upwards, cutting the droid in half vertically. There was a whisper from the Force in Revenge's ear and the Palpatine whirled around on his heel to catch an incoming lightsaber blade, that was aimed for his neck, on the right. RevengeX pushed the droid away with the Force to give him more time as another droid charged the Krath. Revenge strafed out of the way and cut two quick, successive arcs into the droid's metal armor. The Archpriest kicked the cut droid into the other droid and the two smashed into each other and exploded. As another droid sprinted towards its target, Revenge stopped it with the Force and then reorganized its charged internal wires. The Archpriest backpedaled as the droid's head flew off and the body exploded, sending shrapnel everywhere in the outdoors practice area. The Quaestor jumped up and front-kicked an incoming droid in the head and then stabbed it in the chest with his azure blade as it fell backwards. 'Two more,' he reminded himself as he spun on his heel to gain momentum for his next strike. The two droids came together and as they neared the Archpriest, their heads were lopped off. RevengeX stood upright and extinguished the lightsaber. 'Hopefully it'll be this easy for the tournament.' Revenge walked back to the Citadel and thought about what he would write in his report...

In other news, the Clan Feud is coming to a close! The last event, Event 8: Propaganda, the caption contest, has been released. It only takes three minutes to complete, so everyone in the Clan should participate! If you don't, I'll take out my spoon and thwack you in the head with it! ;) So, go do Event 8, it's fun!

CLAN NEWS:

The Clan Feud run-ons have begun! Every member who had signed up for a run-on should have been assigned to a team already. Our Clan's activity in the ORW3 has been really lacking! Only two members in HAD participated this past weekend and that is really, ReAlLy, REALLY, pathetic. Check my ORW reminder, sent to the entire Clan, for a bit more information. As an extra incentive, the DGM is offering "Seals of Dominance" to participants of the ORW! We are behind in the Clan Feud! We need everyone to submit to these events! Grand Master Jac Cotelin has resigned from the position of Grand Master and has recommended Deputy Grand Master Aristan "Sarin" Dantes to be his successor. Please check the email Consul Braecen sent to the Clan and tell Braecen (PRIVATELY) about your thoughts on this. Braecen will vote on behalf of the Clan on whether or not we, as a Clan, believe that Sarin will be an excellent choice. Your input matters!

HOUSE NEWS:

Cooch has been reached, but he has told me that his activity will be low and sporadic. Yay for Cooch! :) Rhaub's having some internet trouble right now, so he should be back within a week. The members of HAD who are participating in the Clan Feud run-on (Team #1) are doing an excellent job; shout-outs to Impetus, Laurus, Uzbad, Ood, Exodius and Adam!

Progress is being made on the "House Descriptions Development" project, and I will be researching all of HAD's facilities so that I may get a better understanding before sending information to the project group. Expect a "sneak peek" at this project in a few weeks! :)

I have no logistical information concerning our House's participation in the Clan Feud. But to those who have been participating, I salute you.

HOUSE DIRECTION:

Motivation. No matter what people say, everything, every event or action, has a motivation behind it, driving it. Besides a select few, we, as a House, are lacking any motivation to drive us into the heat of battle. We need that motivation, or we will fail. We need the motivation to obliterate Clan Arcona in this Feud and we need the motivation to show the other Clans in the Brotherhood that we will not die. To the majority of the other Clans, we are a nuisance, a crippled pest whose glory years have passed already. (This is true, a few other Clans have nothing but scorn for us.)

We must find some kind of motivation to stand back up and propel ourselves into the atmosphere. We have to fight. Every one of us has to fight. Every one of us has to stand up, and shout to our opponents that we will not go out without a good fight.

Every one of us has to put in our best effort into winning. Whether it's for inter-Clan recognition, or for that coveted promotion or shiny medal, each of us needs to put our best effort forward.

Find a motivation. Thrive on it. Rock out. Kick ass.

There are a variety of ways that you can get some wicked awesome medals on your dossier: one way is to be consistently and outstandingly active (especially throughout the duration of the vendettas that are coming up); and another way is to be my slave - ahem I mean, help me with some projects and do excellent work. This is also the way to be promoted and recognized by others.

Another way is to find a niche in the Brotherhood and to excel in that area. However, it is important to not spread yourself too thin, or you may only be recognized as being sloppy. Here are a few example niches: writing, gaming, leading (this is not for everyone), mentoring (participating in the Master-Student Program), and helping. You must find a niche for yourself. When it comes to finding something you're good at, only you may do that.

If you need help or someone to talk to, I am always available.
