Crimson Vanguard Report #5

The leader of the Crimson Vanguard stepped off the ready room into a private area aboard the Orthanc to record her latest report before launching into battle against Admiral Lanar’s fleet, his Strike Cruisers, in particular. She spoke into an audio recorder, with no video companion, as a matter of expediency for she was making haste to the hangar of the Orthanc where the Scimitar Bombers and their associated naval gunner crews awaited.

“Greetings. Since my last report, though it was such a short time ago, much has been accomplished by the Crimson Vanguard. Before we go into the emptiness of space to eliminate Admiral Lanar’s first line of defense so that our capital ships will be free to ravage the remainder of his forces, I take time to document our team’s accomplishments.”

“Obelisk Templar Fire-Knight has been awarded a Crescent with sapphire star for his fine effort in the Tal Fragfest as well as another Crescent with Sapphire Star for his performance in the Shadow Academy Run-On. He also received four Clusters of Fire for his showing in the Bryar Bowl.”

“Jedi Hunter Rannik “Warhammer” Narius has received two Clusters of Fire for gaming as well a a Crescent with Topaz star for being MVP on Archanis Role-Playing night.”

“Protector Anik Koran received a Crescent with topaz star for his efforts in the “CleaningOut The Closets” Run-On event.”

“Protector Daar Kareth was elevated to Protector in a well deserved promotion. He has participated in stellar fashion earning some nine Clusters of Fire for gaming nights, eight clusters of Fire for in the Outer Rim conflict and another Cluster of Fire in the Bryar Bowl. He has been active in the Shadow Academy as well, successfully finishing History of the Sith I and History of the Sith II.”

“Nov Blaidd Drwgg was elevated to that rank from Novice. He is new to the team. We look forward to your participation.”

“Our attention at the moment should be focused squarely on our attack on Admiral Lanar.”

[OOC: We have eight posts, seven behind the leader in posts and six behind the only other team that has surpassed us in posts. We can correct this issue this week with a post or two for each of us. I have posted this morning and ask that you each write a post discussing you approach to the Strike Cruisers. Remember that Scimitar Bombers have three gunners each in addition to you. Suggestions on what to write include the trip to the Strike Cruisers and the fighters we will encounter along the way. Take care to maintain continuity by reading prior posts. Do not write us reaching the cruisers yet. Make our approach difficult. You could even have your ship get hit and lose a gunner. Just do something!!! Use your imagination. Blaidd Drwgg if you want to get involved I will write you as being substituted for someone who has not posted. Just go post and I will take care of it.
