</td> </tr> <tr> <td> This Week</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> The End of an Age.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> There are very few who truly know all the differences in the ACC since I came on board through the appointment of (then LM) DA Miichael Halcyon, with the blessing of GM Jac Cotelin after the departure of GM FF. Rest assured, apart from my zeal, the relationship between the ACC and the DC (specifically the GM) was infected, monumentally. There is no intent to slander past leaders, but their motives, practices and policies were far different than those that I was lucky enough to get thrown into. I honestly expected to be man-handled and affixed with the strings of the DC - but that was so far from what actually happened, that I still can't believe it. One of my first contacts with Jac was me telling him that I wasn't going to be a puppet - to wit, I expected to be fired upon receipt of the, rather aggressive, mail. It should be a given that I didn't know Jac, unable to tell the difference between him and Gandhi. Nevertheless - that's what I expected. To my utter joy and amazement, he regaled me with freedom - letting me know that the ACC was "mine" (insomuch as a leader can actually claim ownership of anything in the club) and I was, in fact, "ordered" to take it to where I felt it needed to go. I won't rehash the state of the ACC at that time, suffice it to say, it needed work - a lot of work. I was willing to take it all, the headaches, the workload, the slander - whatever it took to get the ACC up and running to what I felt it could be; but nothing prepared me for the support I got from the GM. Almost every iota of change that came from me was whole-heartedly blessed by Jac, none of which I expected, ever. There were even times that I presented something that he questioned, but allowed me to go with it anyway - just to help me understand that I am not all knowing, when it would come back to whack me in the arse. Other times, he would disallow things completely, but not out of tyranny. With full blown explanation, that he was never required to supply (a "no" being sufficient), he would help me understand why this wouldn't work or that. And, in the policies that most members would be apt to rebel against, he was readily available to allow me to quote his support of the idea or policy - that is a huge weight off of having to defend a position. It takes a lot of patience to "teach" someone like me, knowing that I am prone to being a little hot-headed, but he stayed the course. He gave me such leeway and freedom, along with a barrel full of mediation when I'd get into shoving my foot in my mouth with a member, that I must say that our accomplishments in the forward motion of the Centre would not have been possible without him. In all of the good and all of the bad, we had his support. Jac, I thank you - and the Centre thanks you; <bow>.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> Judges</td> </tr> <tr> <td> We are in need of new hires. So, if you think you have what it takes to be an ACC Judge, mail Brujah and I.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> From Last Week: The Allure of Power</td> </tr> <tr> <td> The long awaited release of the Sith theme is here - okay, maybe not long awaited - perhaps completely forgotten about; nevertheless it's done. Thanks go out to KAP Rhaub D'ar Aghasett Palpatine and GRD Xerxes, who submitted lyrics. Unfortunately, I didn't use them, not because they weren't good enough, but not really what I was going for. Rhaub's were cool as hell, but more of a 'pilot' theme - seriously though, those were it for a while; running with a "maiden" type feeling song - but it just didn't work in the end. Xerxe's themes were in line with what I was looking for, but musically didn't fit (lyrical structure, pattern) with the music I ended up with. </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> enjoy :P http://dalthid.darkjedibrotherhood.com/db_music_index.asp</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> CHL</td> </tr> <tr> <td> DJM Halcyon Rokir and KE Nekura Manji are paired off in the finals - good luck guys!!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> Taldryan Battle Royal</td> </tr> <tr> <td> The second round started this week, one battle remains for this round!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> CSP vs. Arcona Feud</td> </tr> <tr> <td> 3 battles still active; 1 waiting to be reassessed. These two clans had a pretty good turn out. For the record, they chose to 'cap' the battles; I have no doubt that the battle count would have been much higher had they not done that. But they were smart, with an RoS right around the corner, infinite battle counts would have been a bad idea.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr>
