Heya all. How you all doing? As I ask that every time and no-one replies I’m assuming you’re all fabulous otherwise you’d say so.

Anyway, it’s April, and today marks the one year anniversary of Sildrin and I taking over the HLK Summit as QUA and AED. This year seems to have flown by, and yet so much has happened, the Clan Feud which we won, the GJW we came second in, Manesh becoming Consul and Korras leaving, the rise and fall of Thorin, me becoming QUA and recently Macron becoming Pro-Consul and again me becoming KCB, and now we’ve just finished the RoS and can breathe a sigh of relief. And that’s just a snapshot so much more has happened.

Talking of the RoS, now it’s over a couple of points. I know it wasn’t what a lot of us wanted, but never the less I think despite that lots of us performed great, in the fiction, the gaming, the debate, lots of ACC wins, and finally the excellent performance in the Battleplan by Shin’Ichi and his team. I think that says something for this Clan, the fact we still did our best despite starting with a disadvantage.

One thing we’re hoping to do over the next few months before the GJW is both looking at how we can do better in Vendettas, and also offering feedback and suggestions to the powers that be on how these RoS/GJWs ought to work. I think we’re all agreed that if we have to do these big DB wide events we have a right to a say in how they work.

Something else I’m going to be pushing now is getting the newer members active. We have a great team in House Ludo Kressh, Ashia as Aedile and House Envoy, Horus as Assistant Envoy, Kaelin as Rollmaster, Sai and Corin as Battleteam leaders. We’re going to be giving you more regular information on what you need to do to get promoted and rewarded, what you can do in terms of what fun stuff there is out there, and most importantly finding out what we can do to help you in that. HLK and CNS has a good tradition of leading the way in promotion of new members and keeping them and I want to see that get even better.

Now the RoS is over and the GJW has been put off for a few months I’m going to be doing some competitions, and I’m encouraging anyone else who wants to do one. I want you guys to have lots of good stuff to do on lots of different platforms, firstly to keep you amused and secondly because it’s good experience and training for future events.
