Well, my vacation was amazing, though not long enough. I am glad to see that I come back and no one has been brutally murdered.

I would like to personally congradualate all those who recieved promotions and merit awards for your awesome showing in RoS and your Bad Ass works for CSP over the past months. Lets keep up the good work and move forward in the new Beginning of CSP. Also, for those who are wondering how to pull out and make yourselves known....Look at the reccs. for the medals. I have included them so ya'll can see what it is to be CSP.

Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I award Yadar this Merit Award. Compiling 115 individual points in the MP Gaming Event and taking the rank of 41st Overall in the Vendetta. Additionally, Yadar has proven himself as an asset to Scholae Palatinae. He has accrued over seventy (70) Clusters of Fire since his last elevation, two (2) Crescents (Emerald & Sapphire), four (4) Legions of the Scholar (Hosting HC & SA Trivia), five (5) Seals of Dominance, five (5) Seals of Darkness and was the innovator behind several House competitions (HC Easter Egg, HC Trivia, etc). With that said, his participation in the Outer Rim War, Rites of Supremacy and submissions (Clan - Trivia, Aftermath; House - Trivia, Caption; DB - Dark Voice) is welcomed by his leaders. For his efforts on an individual level, his ability to create competitions and his fun-loving, energetic impact on our Clan... I am honored to award him his first Merit medal: an Anteian Cross.

Brent "Archangel":

This award is for the wonderful Service Archangel has done for both CP and CSP. He helped vastly on the layout for the Clan Plagueis website, especially the splash page. which is enough to award him. Take a look at : http://plagueis.darkjedibrotherhood.com/.

However, Archangel has also helped Consul Kunar with a set of 17 images for the Legions of Scholae project that the Consul has been working. While he is still working on it, it is something that he is doing above and beyond regular duties. Braecen has not yet released the project, but his contribution is very beneficial to the clan. This project helps the clan in the completion of our clan prospectus. Archangel has also participated in multiple trivia events, though he is in the majority that cannot seem to dethrone RevengeX Palpatine. He is routinely active in the clan, maintaining a great presence on IRC. Archangel also helped win some ACC points for CSP in the RoS, leading them to a Second place Finish overall! He Completed 7 matches, with a winning record. For his hard work and participation, An Anteian Cross.

Rasilvenaira:

Apart from her individual motivations during the Rite of Supremacy, SW Rasilvenaira took the MVP for the ACC Staff over the RoS time frame. In short, she accumulated over 70 points in judge/trainer stats which covers training, judgments and introductions to battles. This accounted for virtually every non-RoS battle administration over the course of the Rite and inevitably made her single handedly responsible for the ACC's daily operations over that time. Ood has been creating puzzles for the Dark Voice since August of 2006. His contributions have been exciting for members and gotten great response. Ood pulled through for the Exodus issue of the Dark Voice with his five pack of puzzles. He has always been on time and his puzzles of excellent quality. The Dark Voice will continue to appreciate the hours he spends creating his puzzles and this medal is only a symbol of that appreciation. Thank you for all you've done.

Dirus has shown great prowess in his display in the RoS. Because of his commitment and Participation, Clan Scholae Palatinae earned a second place finish! His gaming matches helped us in dislodging the grip of other clans on the gaming community. He has managed to accumulate 200 clusters of fire for other gaming events as well! He is one of the clans most active gamers and lets it show. For his wealth of matches, superlative conduct, and pristine involvement in the RoS and many other Gaming events, I award Dirus a Dark Cross.

Cerim:

Cerim has shown awesome presence on IRC, but more importantly, as a new member, he has shown his love and dedication for the clan. His recent participation in the fields of Gaming and Fiction helped CSP to Claim First in Both the 3rd Round of Fiction and Overall Gaming! Cerim participated in two fiction events, helping vastly in that field. Also, he completed over 20 matches for the JA Ladder, which CSP Dominated. Combined with his routine presence on IRC, Cerim aided the Clan in a great manner. His contribution is greatly appreciated!

A Steel Cross is awarded to a member whom aids their Quaestor or Aedile or provides mentorship, acting as a role model. In this instance, Siyavash did not aide her Quaestor, but her Consul. Through the turbulence of wide-sweeping changes in the Brotherhood, she has found a niche in Scholae Palatinae where she can excel as a mentor and role model. Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I award Siyvash this Merit Award. Compiling 154 individual points in the Fiction & ACC Events and taking the rank of 24th Overall in the Vendetta. Additionally, she has accrued a Seal of Loyalty, four (4) Seals of Darkness and a Topaz Crescent. But it is not just individual activity I wish to highlight. Since coming to Scholae Palatinae, Siyavash has been inquisitive, helpful and shown a desire to explore the Star Wars universe. She has helped in the mentorship of Xen as our Clan ACC Trainer - explaining to him the mechanics of instruction and leading a writer along a path from average writing to exceptional writing. She has made general, unobtrusive observations to our own Envoy System & Master-Student Program - helping with efficiency. All of this, of course, during her tenure as Knight Commander of the Brotherhood. While I cannot quantify her work with the Brotherhood as a whole, I can attest to her impact on Scholae Palatinae during that time. While the Clan was thrust through a series of ups and downs at the position of Knight Class Envoy, Siya helped us maintain status quo until a suitable replacement was found. Along with this, she worked with, then Knight Adjutant, Rasilvenaira to help her grasp the complexities of balancing a diverse group of individuals (the collective KCEs of six Clans). For individual contributions in the Vendetta, her work as a mentor to Xen & Silver, and her willingness to engage new, and old, members of the Clan to make a better community for everyone... I wish to present her with a Steel Cross.

Conviction. Tenacity. Devotion. Sage-like. These are all words I use to describe the Sith Knight of Caliburnus known as Zeron. He has developed from an eager new recruit into a staunch pillar of House Caliburnus, then Clan Scholae Palatinae through his efforts to strengthen our community. Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I award Zeron this Merit Award. Compiling 91individual points in the MPGaming, Fiction & Battle Plan Events and taking the rank of 48th Overall in the Vendetta. In addition, Zeron has maintained a steady level of participation accruing fifty two (52) Clusters of Fire, Quartz Crescent, four (4) Legions of the Scholar (Moderating/Hosting CSP Trivia), one Seal of Dominance (Outer Rim War), a Dark Cross and five (5) Seals of Darkness. In addition, Zeron has participated in several House (HC Easter Egg), Clan (Trivia, Images, etc) and Brotherhood (Banner, Propoganda) competitions. Additionally, Zeron was a staunch participant in the Arcona vs. Scholae Palatinae Feud - competing in seven of the events in Scholae Palatinae's defense.

As an Envoy, and a leader, I am hard pressed to find a more devout member to hold the banner of Caliburnus. He works tirelessly to send weekly e-mails - helping direct progression - to members of the rank of Apprentice to Jedi Hunter, he sends a welcome letter to each transfer into his House (new & old members), and a follow-up letter that details the specifics of the Brotherhood. Combine this with his desire to assume more responsibility (running competitions) bi-weekly reports (to the Knight Class Envoy), constant IRC presence (#scholae) and willingness to assist... it is to be commended. For all that you do - seen and unseen - we want to offer this small token of appreciation. Congratulations on your first Grand Cross of the DarkSide!

Tyno:

An activity dynamo and pillar of Scholae Palatinae's gaming community. Tyno is both of these things and it is my honor to recognize his accomplishments and success as a gamer in the Dark Brotherhood in the form of his first Grand Cross of the Dark Side. An apt reward for an aspiring Dark Knight on his path to the Equite Class.

The Outer Rim War placed the forces of the Dark Brotherhood - the Sith faction - against several premier Star Wars Gaming communities in a knock-down, drag-out contest of wills for Outer Rim dominance. The campaign lasted through nine contests before the Brotherhood claimed dominancy. In five of those contests, Tyno was not only the top individual placer of the Brotherhood, but of every club. When the dust settled, it was this Knight of Scholae Palatinae that attained one sixth (1/6) of all the Brotherhood's points. Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I award Luciferus this Merit Award. Compiling 147 individual points in the MP Gaming Event and taking the rank of 26th Overall in the Vendetta. Collectively he has accrued five (5) Seals of Darkness, five (5) Seals of Dominance, a Gold Nova, a Silver Nova and a spiffy set of custom robes from the Herald - Muz Keibatsu - on his dossier, and induction into the Order of the Serpent (House Caliburnus's Elite Battle Team) and participation in four events of the Arcona vs. Scholae Palatinae Feud.

Tyno has achieved an outstanding amount of general activity over the course of two months, and it is with honor I reward such accomplishments.

Nathaniel:

Nathaniel has been a wonderful asset to House Acclivis Draco, and Scholae Palatinae, since joining us in September. He participated in many events for the CSP vs. Arcona feud, tying for third for number of events for House Acclivis Draco, and as the creator of the Sixth Great Jedi War, he has done an excellent job in providing advice to the Summits. The Rite of Supremacy has brought out the best from Nathaniel. First, he talked with the Clan Summit about a vendetta strategy and then created a web survey for members to take so that we, as a Clan, can understand our strengths, weaknesses, and where we can focus. Next, he created a vendetta guide, primarily aimed for younger members who haven't participated in a wide-scale vendetta, but applicable to older members too, that contained all the information one needs to know about vendettas. What really impressed me was that the guide contained information about vendetta strategy, something that I had never heard about ever before. During the RoS, he encouraged other members to participate and propelled himself forward into the fiction events, earning first overall in the fiction event, and came in eleventh throughout the entire DJB. When he first approached me about a leadership position in Acclivis Draco, I admit that I was skeptical at first because I didn't really know him, however, now that I have seen what he can do, and how he does it, I offered him the empty Aedile position. He accepted, and I expect great things to come out of his office. Thank you for everything you have done Nathaniel. Congratulations on your award. :)

Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco

Nathaniel is a longtime ally of Scholae Palatinae and it was no surprise that he joined the ranks of Scholae Palatinae once he stepped down from the position of Lord Hegemon. His arrival was heralded as a major boon to the Clan Major and he has not fallen short on those expectations. Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I recognize Nathaniel's effort. Compiling 195 individual points in the MP Gaming, Fiction & Debate Events and taking the rank of 11th Overall in the Vendetta. I could reiterate on Revenge's comments about Nathaniel's crucial assistance during the Vendetta, but I will divulge on my personal insight on how it affected the Clan... Nathaniel's immediate interest in helping the Clan overcome past tribulations was easily recognizable. He worked by my side to quickly establish a sense of control and direction - something that was lacking in our previous Vendetta efforts - and we quickly went to work tapping the necessary resources to prepare our war band for the Rites of Supremacy. This sense of direction, calm and dedication would - eventually - resonate throughout the Clan and excel it to domination of four rival Clans. Nathaniel - while we fell short of our true intention, it was my honor to work with you and create a positive environment, stimulate activity (throughout the entire Clan), provide necessary insight and mentorship to our members and act as catalysts to Scholae Palatinae's recent resurrection. Additionally, our resident Sith Master has provided insight, direction and feedback as a member of the CSP Senate since his coming to the Clan. His council, guidance and ingenuity have played into several of my decisions as to where the Clan is growing. This is but a small token of our appreciation and acknowledgement of his contributions.

Lucius:

Since his promotion to Prelate, Lucius has been awarded countless CFs, a Pendant of Blood, an Amethyst Crescent, five Seals of Dominance as well as four Seals of Darkness. This is his standard take for his gaming presence, something that hasnt wavered since the start of his Scholae Palatinae membership. He also held the position of Gaming Tribune, ensuring timely awards for all participants and keeping the servers up and running for gaming nights. The part that not that many people know is his recently acquired ACC ability. Lucius earned yet another Seal of Darkness, this one for his participation in the ACC portion of the Rite of Supremacy. A goodly number of people have discouraged Luc from ACC, citing his writing ability as mediocre at best, but he tried anyway. His goal to compete in the event, to give Scholae more points, and to prove the people that said he couldnt write, wrong. That is exactly what he did - he walked out with a 7-1 record, earning Scholae 22 points in the process. Lucius is also Master to Leonidas Yadar Mandalore, mentoring him from Acolyte to Guardian, helping him with Jedi Academy, Shadow Academy exams, encouraging him to take part in competitions, general DB conduct and more. They are an odd pairing, but a very good one as Luc is able to impart his knowledge onto his Apprentice and mould him into a very productive member of CSP. A Grand Cross is awarded for activity over time, for a keen understanding of a position, and in both these areas Lucius excelled - as gaming tribune, as Master for his Student, as a member of the Brotherhood that takes part in as many competitions as he can, for his gaming presence all these effort combining to make him a worthy recipient of the award. Congratulations Luc!

Knight Class Envoy of Scholae Palatinae

Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I recognize Lucius's effort. Compiling 198 individual points in the MP Gaming & ACC Events and taking the rank of 10th Overall in the Vendetta. Additionally, the popularity and success of CSP JA Training Nights could have never prospered without Dark Summit influence and suggestions. It was Lucius that came to me and proposed the idea that individuals be awarded for their participation - at the Moderators discretion - for their time spent learning to become more efficient gamers. This subtle nudge not only drove the activity level of the event, but gave visible activity that helped spur the development of a new generation of new, gaming members in the Clan. Combine this with his recent, newfound innovations as a Senator of Scholae Palatinae to take my previous proposal "Merit Noble System" and completely revamp it to reflect a whole new facet: Clan Credits. With these credits, members would be rewarded for their expertise, while Merit would be reflected for participation, giving members a brand new Point of View on character development in CSP. For the sum total of his contributions in the Clan Feud, the Rites of Supremacy, developmental work as Tribune and ingenuity to improve his Clan... I recommend Lucius for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side.

Thran:

I have the honor of awarding Thran his second Grand Cross - And I will explain how this member, over the course of his tenure has helped Scholae Palatinae grow. Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I recognize Thran's effort. Compiling 64 individual points in the Debate, Battle Plan, Fiction & ACC Events and taking the rank of 104th Overall in the Vendetta. Additionally, Thran served as our Debate Team Captain & was the catalyst behind our Clan Battle Plans (leading us to 3rd Overall). Thran has proven - despite his own beliefs on the subject - to be a capable leader with the right mixture of personality, vision and tenacity to effectively run a House. Since his ascension to Quaestor of House Caliburnus I have been able, as a Consul, to wash my hands of the day-to-day operations and projects of Thran's House. As a Quaestor he reports in a unique fashion, delivering imperative messages and updates to his charges... he works tirelessly with his Aedile - grooming her for her eventual role as Quaestor - and is doing a fantastic job of teaching lessons that have no curriculum... Thran also maintains the vision to ceaselessly develop his House - fundamentally & fictionally - including the Menagerie Project (Clan Animal database - roughly 30+ pages), both HAD & HC Member of the Month Programs (Order of the Serpent/Dragon), the Clan quarterly member program (Dark Paladin), the HQs of Caliburnus (website, graphics, detailed explanations) and his newest development of a continual nemesis of his House (a launching pad for fictional development, competitions and House identity). I would be remiss to not acknowledge Thran's contribution to Clan Scholae Palatinae. In short, he has been a large catalyst in aiding me as we work towards building a stronger Clan. There is a great deal of intangible things Thran does... and I will do my best to put them in words. Mentor. Thran acts a guide and teacher not only to Rasilvenaira, but every member in his House. He teaches them the value of right action, manners, discretion, patience and loyalty. Leader. Thran can deliver passionate words to stir every member's heart from Apprentice to Master - though most of that dialogue is hidden in leadership meetings that cover the future of a Clan. Friend. Through his steadfast devotion to build a stronger house (and thus a stronger Clan) I know that I can trust Thran to do what is right. It creates a great deal of relief to know that I do not have to micro-manage House Caliburnus, but that I will receive updates and ideas before they go into effect... and Thran allows me to mettle with those ideas before I approve them, allowing for the continuity of the Clan to remain streamlined. For all that he publicly, and privately, handles as a leader of Scholae Palatinae it is my honor to award this medal as testament to his tenacity and skill.

Internet-Relay Chat (IRC) is the second (after e-mail) most accessible asset/tool within the Dark Brotherhood (DB). As a new member in the DB, IRC can provide you with real-time answers to real-time problems/questions. In fact, I was once a new member that spent countless hours on this chat service picking the minds of my Quaestor and Aedile for every facet of the Clan and DB.

-Masters:

-All masters fall under the Envoy System because that is who they must report to on the Advancement of their student.

-All trials and Reccs for promotions/medals must be first approved by the KCE and Clan Summit

Now, when it come to promotions and medals, this is how it is followed.

-Consul: May promote up to Battlemaster, Prelate and Archpriest

-Proconsul: May promote up to Warrior, Templar and Priest

-Quaestor: May promote up to Dark Jedi Knight

-Aedile: May promote up to Jedi Hunter

Which means, any promotion has to be cleared with the higher ups.

-Any member can recommend a promotion/medal, but it must be cleared through the channels.

All Medals must be approved by the Clan summit, unless they are for something outside the clan....(i.e DBPA, GMRG work.)

-The exception to this rule would be if it were added to clan work, then it must be approved.

Also, all information pertaining to house histories, story line's, etc. must be run through their perspective house summits and clan summit.

This is the bottom line, this is how the system works.
