Report, Jade Serpents, 4/24/2007

_Sai entered his office, the electroluminescent lights automatically switching on as he crossed the threshold. Settling into his chair, he was greeted by its usual creaks and groans, and he made a mental note, as he always did, to look into getting it replaced.

He took his calligraphy kit from the desk’s side drawer, along with a clean scroll of paper. After unfurling it across his desk, Sai selected a brush, dipped its bristles into the inkwell, and began to write:_

Ink Blotches:

I’d like to take this time to talk about a subject that’s near and dear to me: Communication. It’s not always easy being a leader, but one thing that does help is communication. The leadership of this House and Clan does a lot of hard work in making sure that we all feel appreciated, in coming up with things for us to do, and in ensuring that they themselves are doing a satisfactory job. The communication piece in these interactions is crucial; as hard as it is to sometimes feel appreciated, to create activities, to take honest self-evaluation, it’s even harder to do if we don’t know if you’re doing something, if we don’t know what you’d like to see, or if we don’t know what you think of us. So, get up, grab a keyboard, and get us some feedback! The leadership of this House and Clan, myself included, loves communication. We thrive on it. We welcome open and healthy discussion. We appreciate free-thinkers. Our “doors”, as it were, are always open! Throw out some ideas; they will be duly noted and considered with the utmost respect and most serious of minds, I assure you. We understand that the future of this House, this Clan, this Club, is dependant upon the membership; without an active membership, there is no Club. An Empowered member, in my mind, is a Fulfilled member. Do you feel fulfilled? If not, have you told your leadership? We should be empowering you, without reservation, my Battle Team.

We have no illusions as to the matter, and now, having read this, neither should you. I, for one, am looking forward to hearing from you.

Not much else is happening, save the Attacking The Clones Comp and its varied and sundry branches of activity. I myself have submitted to the runon, and will be coming up with a fiction. As Tetrarch, I’ve also made substantial additions to the BT’s Wiki; check it out and get me some feedback! I love communication!

Additionally, I’ve been extremely active in the ACC, opening and judging battles. I’m always open to spar; c’mon in, and learn the vagaries of the ACC. >;)
