House Caliburnus Quaestor Report

<font color="#808080"><b> Children of the Sword, </b>

_ Two Modified Conveyors crept sluggishly under the titanic shadow of the delta shaped Victory Class Star Destroyer, lugging many large containers with them. It was the first time that foreign traders had been allowed in the the system in many years, which had shaken many of the politician deeper within the Sector. Ptolomea was on the outskirts of the orbits far away from the sun, and the comfort of of inner system life. Passers-by and other interested personalities often swung at Ptolomea, leaving it's leadership in a weak position to defensively control the system. However, that was all set to change.

The bridge of the Excidium had become one of the favorite locations for the Sith Battlemaster. As he overlooked the incoming merchant shipbuilders, in their slow moving vessels, he couldn't help but smile to himself. The Consul was due soon, to personally oversee the construction. There were sure to be some choice words and pending the confrontation, some heated tempers. Thran gazed off into the darkness of space, content with himself and the circumvention of the Senate with his move. At the pointed bow of the vessel the ant-like shuttle, bearing the Consul, made its final approach.

“Thran, you should go meet him. Typical pomp, you know.” commented a sultry redheaded woman.

“Gem...Don't tell me what to do.” he replied to her.

“I hope he really sticks you for this one. You never learn your lessons. Insolent little frack...” the conning officer said, fixing her hair before turning back to her station.

“If you weren't my blood, I would have the right mind to straighten you out.” Thran said, clenching his jaw.

She laughed, the best response possible. Sisters always had the best way to counteract their younger siblings. Holding his tongue, Thran focused once again on the construction crews, who had crept to a stop just off to the port side. It would take only a matter of weeks to manufacture the facility, but it a year on top of that to establish a true grip on the sector. It was fitting, Thran found, that they put a Bakuran on the outside of the system and expected him to just sit there. Bakurans were about as tenacious as they came, making for a formidable opponent for the tenacity of Corellians. Of course, that only escalated the severity of the situation even more. It was quite surprising how little could send the Quaestor into a pacing tour of the bridge, leaving his sister to resume her tasks.

In what seemed like a matter of seconds, the Consul reached the bridge surrounded by his personal entourage. Braecen entered, dispersing the Mandalorian guard which accompanied him. His eyes scanned the bridge, picking out the slim red-headed Conning Officer from among the crowd. It happened to be that the unsuspecting Consul became so drunk, that he had found his way into the private quarters of one member of the crew. Hoping to avoid any conflict or distraction, he joined his companion.

“Thran, my friend!” The Consul began, hoping to ease the tense air.

“I would appreciate it if you didn't lie to me, Braecen. I am keen on much more than your Council has lead you to believe. Let's dispense with the pleasantries, shall we?” Thran snipped back, drawing the battlefield right on the deck of the bridge.

“And your Mandalore dogs are not welcome here. This is Caliburnus Territory, and you so kindly moved them to Acclivis Draco. I understand your allegiances, Kunar. You have chosen the wrong path...But I will be gracious...I forgive you.” Thran continued.

The Consul held back his laughter for only a moment before it grew too wild to hold in. “Ha! You forgive me?! I am Emperor! Hahaha!” The Pontifex remarked.

“Then perhaps the power has gone to your head in a much worse degree than I had imagined...Oversee this project, Braecen. But, you will see my cooperation with you no longer.” The Quaestor said hanging his head.

“Are you threatening me with sedition, Sith?!” the Consul said, reaching for his twin lightsabers.

<font color="#F62817"> <b>Monthly Focus</b></font>

This Focus is simple...

Complete what you say you will. Under my Quaestorship, I have tried extensively to get people involved in the little progressions we make. Ranging from competitions to larger projects, I have included many of you in these activities. However, I have seen a fairly poor return from those people I have included.

I know that ambitions sometimes get the better of us, it happens to me all the time. However, if you have been included in a project it is in your own benefit to complete the tasks you signed up for! Remember, when you complete a task, I can reward you! Everyone likes shiney medals, right?

Beyond getting a reward, becoming involved in projects and completing them gives you the exclusive right to be included in the formation of our House. I am lenient, but all I ask is you complete the tasks you sign up for in a timely manner! Spend some time on your projects (like an hour, that is all!) and get them to me sooner rather than later!

If you haven't signed up for a project, hit up the forums and investigate the Project Pool. If you don't see anything that is tantalizing, post in the Quaestor's Supplemental with your ideas! My goal as Quaestor is to give you what you want, not to get all the things I want...That is why I bother Braecen! :P

Until Next week,

Well, Soon The Project pool will be posted on the Caliburnus Forum. Look for projects that interest you and contact the Overlord of the project, who will give you a task! The goal of this is to get the House involved in changing the face of House Caliburnus. Here is the link, checks it out foos! http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4177

House Prospectus. If you have seen the Clan Prospectus, you know that it is filled with all sorts of details about the clan. Now, Imagine the same thing with the house prospectus. Check out what has been added! http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/wiki/index.php?title=House_Caliburnus_Prospectus

I have decided that House Caliburnus is going to be the point of authority for the clan's naval proceedings. I have commissioned a top secret construction site somewhere near by! What could I be doing? Why is my report fiction getting stranger? Why?!?! I'll Tell you! Because I want to establish HC as the. (Like we haven't all ready.) The goal is to construct more for HC. In this case, a Space Station! Tune in for more!
Since you all have been patiently waiting for this and read the same paragraph in my reports over and over again for the last month or so, I am going to do something that is against my moral fiber…I am going to tease you, lead you on, or in other words, seduce you. I have personally learned to do something called “work” for this project. I know that may sound like an incredible shock to you folks, but believe me, I was more surprised. I augmented my original plan but, everything is on track for the moment…

So, without further delay…

THE TEASER:

Revamping of the House Maps. Now that we have a map...I want to up the quality...So look for those in the future. Ras has been busting her chops (as well as mine) to crank out some new maps. We are also going to doing similar things with the Facilities on Ptolomea's Moon as well as the space station. I am kind of a map fiend, so expect to see lots of them!

Created images of the Houses Facilities, other than Maps, are in the future as well. If you are an accomplished Graphic Designer or you can draw some things on Photoshop, connect with me so I can possibly exploit you! And by that I mean...help me Graphic Artists...You are my only hope!

Regular reporting!

Some work with the Clan Menagerie, If you are interested in getting involved email me or contact me on IRC, I could use some minions! It would consist of basic writing tasks, imagination, and having to deal with me. I am officially moving into the next steps of the Menagerie project. I have to settle on some details, but it will involve the separation of the creatures into the Respective houses. I hope to do something in the spirit of the NFL (American Football) Draft, just to spice it up! :P

I am going to be posting some polls on the Forums. They don't so much have a point, but are fun to do. I encourage all of you to use the Forums more often. The DB has some awesome forums, and we get to use them for free! The best part is…You can talk about anything! So, stop by, give em a try!

Does anyone who does graphics want a medal? Well, If you do...Send me a bunch of graphics for my reports! Use the headings you see here...and be sure that they are...BAD ASS! (like me, I wish :P)

Maybe some other top secret things...But If I told you, they wouldn't be top secret...</font>

TOP SECRET SHITE!

The Sudoku Puzzle!

Here is a sudoku puzzle! Read my reports, complete the puzzle and send me the answers! The winner gets a shiney medal :)
