Sorry for the delay on the report, folks. I was out for the May 18-21 weekend and now I am very exhausted. Plus, I have all sorts of unnecessary exams coming up... yay for me... :P
A lot has happened in the DJB recently... Recap!
Halcyon Rokir has resigned from Deputy Grand Master. Muz Ashen Keibatsu has been appointed Deputy Grand Master.
With Muz taking the reigns of Deputy Grand Master, Kaine Mandaala has been appointed Herald.
Dacien "BubbaX" Victae has resigned and thus the position of Consul in Clan Plagueis is open to applications.
Timeros Caesus Entar has been reappointed as the Proconsul of Clan Arcona.
The position of Dark Voice Tribune is still open to applications.

CLAN NEWS:
Clan Envoy Selene d'Tana has resigned from Clan Envoy and taken time off from the DJB. Zeron has been appointed Clan Envoy, congrats to him! Fionn (a.k.a. Locutov) has been appointed House Caliburnus' Envoy. The CSP Summer Games have ended! This event was a major success as far as I can see and several rounds of applause must be given to Karva Dronaal, Daniel Stephens and the rest of the CSP Senate, the main coordinators of this event. Props to Rasilvenaira for coding the website. :) If you have suggestions for future Summer Games, go spam Karva's inbox! :D Just kidding, only send one email. ;)
Zeron has recently sent an email that details CSP's email procedures. Make sure that you read over it and understand it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Braecen has given details on how to "Attain Power Beyond the Rank of Dark Jedi Knight". If you are a DJK or higher and feel that you want to go higher up, please read it!
HOUSE NEWS:
As Aedile Nathaniel has outlined in his report, HAD will have an adventure from May 26-June 9. From Nathaniel's report:
_From May 26 to June 9, Acclivis Draco will see an adventure like none before in the history of the House. And one member will be the hero of the House at the end.
The gist: Every day, you get two tasks. They're small, quickly done. You choose one and do it as well as you can. Or, if you want to, do both and leave it up to the judge to score the one you did better at. At the end of the day, you'll get points for your performance - and at the end of the two weeks, one member will have accumulated the most points. For lack of a better word, that one will be called "winner" :)
So clean out half an hour every day for the Brotherhood in those two weeks. You'll not regret it. And you'll get used to what it takes to be a winner in the GJW: Doing a bit every day.
And to make this more interesting, I'll throw in secret caverns, weapons, a light Jedi or three, some pirates, monsters, lightsabers, a few dark secrets of HAD's past and random other goodies. As a DJM, I have the right to make those up, you know.
Oh, did I mention that the best works of earlier stages will influence how the later ones go? No? Well, I guess now I did._
If you can read and understand English well, this should make you excited! It sure makes me excited. ;) Huge props and panda bears to Nathaniel for coming up with these ideas. Also, note the "one member will be the hero of the House at the end" statement. This means that this competition will separate the men (or women) from the boys (or girls). Only ONE person will be named "Hero of House Acclivis Draco" and this competition will decide that. If that doesn't make you want to jump up and start praying to the Power(s) That Be, you must not have read my sentence correctly.
HOUSE DIRECTION:
Today, I will write about "The DJB And Real Life."
The majority of you should have heard people saying, "Real life always comes first." And I must stress that this is true. Even if you're an internet addict with no life whatsoever, NEVER let the DJB interfere with your real life. If any real life emergency happens, do NOT hesitate to drop everything DJB-related. But, I must request that you tell your CON, PCON, Clan Envoy, AED, and myself so that we know you're not AWOL, just having some real life difficulty.
Everyone has times of trouble.
REMEMBER: The DJB is a SIDELINE activity. It should never be playing in the court when there are more important matters to attend to. Never forget that, folks.
If you find that DJB activities are conflicting with your real life schedule, you might want to take some time off and just reassess your position in the DJB and real life. If your real life responsibilities start intensifying, don't be afraid to let us know that you're going to be away for a bit. We're not going to get angry with you. We don't function like that... if we did, I wouldn't be here.
Even if we're in the middle of a huge vendetta (like the upcoming GJW), and real life falls down on you like an elephant falling on an ant from a one million meter high mountain, tell us. Maybe we can help you out and give you some pointers/suggestions. Many of us have had similar conflicts and situations, so we might be able to help. Your Summits are not only there to organize competitions and projects... we're here to make sure that you become the best you can be... in the DJB and real life.
We are there to help.
And never let the DJB interfere with your real life.

Challenge #7: Constructive Criticism and Sexy Suggestions (& Awesome Alliteration) FTW!
In my opinion, one important way to better oneself is to accept constructive criticism and suggestions from other people. In order to better House Acclivis Draco's Summit, and ultimately House Acclivis Draco, I need constructive criticism and suggestions from the general populace.
I am ALWAYS open to constructive criticism and suggestions from you guys. Remember, there is a difference between constructive criticism and, what I like to call, "stupid" criticism. Constructive criticism tells me what I did wrong and what I need to do. "Stupid" criticism can be of two types: telling me what I did wrong, without offering a solution/suggestion; or, telling me that I suck and should resign. If you offer "stupid" criticism, I will personally take you to the sidelines and have a little talk with you (three strikes and you're out, in a sense).
Give me suggestions!

Because you are one of the "specials" on my list of "special" people, I will forgive you for not addressing me by all of my awesome titles.
The very FIRST thing to do is to check out the Competitions listing (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/competitionlisting.asp) and check for competitions available to the "Entire DJB", "Clan Scholae Palatinae", or "House Acclivis Draco". If there are none available, or none you are interested in, do not hesitate to send your House/Clan Leaders an email stating that you are bored. A simple, "Hey, I'm bored. Gimme something to do," will suffice.
We will do everything we can to make sure you are not bored, whether that be assigning you to a project or getting feedback from you on what you like to do. Simple as that!
Remember, do not hesitate to send us an email saying you're bored... It happens to the best of us at times!
